In a small town is where they met,
he told her she ain't seen nothin yet.
Together they made plans when they get out of high school to go and visit someplace cool.
As time flew by he joined the military and told her not to be wary.
When he got back they would marry then go visit someplace cool.
In a small town where they met he told her she ain't seen nothing yet. Together they made plans for when he came home to go to Italy's Rome. She waited for him all the days. Soon she became wary that they would not marry and he wouldn't return to the small town where they met.
In a small town where they met
She stood above and said he ain't seen nothin yet.
There she stood and cried
Waiting till she died,
To go meet him someplace cool.
