It was a few days later, your mom was now 5 days in a coma
There still wasn't any improvement, the visitors hour was in and hour, you barely slept the past couple days and was starting to get really tired. You and Mark ate some toast after that you and Mark headed to the hospital. Once arrived you immidiatly went to her room, you say next to her and held her hand you said "hey mom, I know there is a big possibility that you can't hear me, but this helps me process it and the doctors said it might help and That you can maybe hear me. I just want to talk to you again, I miss you mom, you've always been there for me and always supported me so now it's my turn" you yawned and started to fall asleep. You tried to resist, but you couldn't resist anymore and fell asleep.
Mark's p.o.v:
You walked towards y/n and kissed her forehead, you then grabbed a chair, sat down on the other side of the bed, you put your hands on the bed and started talking "I know I haven't really been talking to you these past couple of days, but now y/n is sleeping I have a chance to say what I'm feeling. And I just want to say I'm really worried about her, she hasn't been doing very well lately, she barely eats and she has barely slept the past few days. I've tried everything, but nothing helps since you got in this coma she has only slept one of these 5 nights. I'm just so worried that she's gonna go downhill really fast and-and I don't know what to do" you looked down and sobbed, you suddenly felt a cold hand on top of yours, you looked up with teary eyes and saw y/n's mother looking at you. She said in a husky voice "it's okay Mark, she's just as worried as you are, but because of a different reason and look at her she's sleeping now", mark looked at y/n's mom and barely could bring out any words "you-you're awake, did-did you hear..." she put her finger on your mouth "shh, you might wake her and yes I've heard everything you both said and I tried to wake up, but just couldn't do it, but when I heard you sobbing and talking about my daughter and that she wasn't doing do well, I knew that was the moment to wake up and I tried again to wake up and this time I succeeded", Mark smiled and asked "should I call a nurse and say you woken up" she nodded so you walked away.
