The brunette walked alongside Alec as they try to reach the others in time. He seemed more upset than he did the last time. "I don't approve of this mission," he spoke. "I spoke with the Clave, they're sending Seelie scouts to search for Valentine, but they made it clear, the little girl does not leave the premise, and neither does the huntress, she's an asset and apparently well liked by the Clave."

"Her name isn't little girl," Allison sneered. "We have to find Dot and that is final, Clary's not safe anywhere outside of these walls, I'll be happy to go with her myself."

"She has a point," Isabelle sighed looking at her brother.

"You too, Izzy?" he asked. "If you have all the answers where do you suggest we search?" he turned towards the huntress.

"We should start at Dot's apartment in Greenpoint, and there's this thrift store that she," a gasp made Allison stop. Clary held on to her necklace tightly. "Clary?"

"What's wrong? What is it?" Jace asked.

"Weirdly, I think I know where Dot is," she replied.

"Great, I'll drive," Simon spoke up. "What? Unless you have a shadowhunter mobile or something."

Allison laughed silently. "Simon I love you, but you're an idiot," she said. "I call shotgun."

The car ride consisted of awkward silence and a playlist of indie rock music. The brunette in the front entertained herself by lurking through Simon's glove compartment. She picked up her belladonna bottle, making sure that there were exactly eighteen left like when she last took them. She also picked up Simon's notebook which was filled with his ideas for the graphic novel.

Allison smiled at the resemblance of the people she knew. Clary had drawn all of them, including her mom, Dot and Maureen. She flipped through the pages of the book hoping to get some sort of insider on what they wanted to do. She honestly didn't know what would've happened if Clary hadn't been accepted to art school.

"I swear if you guys don't start working on this so I can read it I will end you," Allison joked. The entire car went silent as the trio laughed.

They reached the night club from the other night. Clary was leading the group into the infamous night club. Allison took out her crossbow from her bag. Everyone gave the Argent a worried look.

"Do you always carry that thing around?" Simon asked the brunette.

"What? This?" she held up the crossbow. "Yeah, I always have it with me."

When they reached the end of the club Clary looked back at the group. "She was just trying to help me," Clary said. "Now, she's gone."

Allison hugged the girl. She knew what it was like to lose the people yo loved to the supernatural. No matter how much of cruel power hungry hunter her mother was, she always loved her and missed her everyday. "I'm sorry."

"You don't understand, Dot's like my big sister," Clary teared up.

"It's not safe here," Alec said. "We have to go back to the institute right now."

"So, now what?" Allison sneered at the boy. "Do we just give up?"

"There's another option," Jace said.
