Chapter 09 -(L) error 404

I remembered the time when my biological parents called out for me.

I went outside of my room, sobbing after knowing that,

the only nice person that meant the world to me died.

On my birthday yesterday.

They told me we were going to visit the grave that grandma was buried in.

I innocently agreed.

but I forgot the fact that they were abusive.

And that they would never let me out.

Little did I know, I was suspicious of the location.

It was a city street.

We got out of the car.

And flowers for grandma.

but they never came.

I waited for so long.

I met friends there.

I cried.

My friends smiled and brought light to my abusive life.

I was once happy.

A woman dressed in a fancy dress.

Along with a man or should I say her husband dressed in a tuxedo.

I heard they wanted to adopt a girl.

I hid.

But they found interest in me.

They told me I was pretty.

They told me they were going to treat me right.

Not like my biological parents.

They changed my name to Jung Eunji.

It was hard to bid goodbye

to my friends that I was probably never going to see again.

I entered the big mansion.

People bowing to my tall step brother besides me.

to my step dad

to my step mom.

They told me not to call them step but only mom, dad and brother.

My brother socialized with me.

We hung out.

I was comfortable around the table with my new family.

They bought me things I liked.

Dresses, clothes and food.

It was good to say that being adopted was fine.

but then they changed and told me they were going to teach me manners, how to properly act in front of rich people and that and that.

I atleast got my brother, Jung Hoseok.

Who didn't seem to be bothered by those orders and our parents' words.

We would disobey.

and meet his friends.
