Date: 1996

Place: preschool

"I love you Nellie, do you love me?" Asked my best friend Jake.

"I love you too Jake" I replied blushing

"Best friends forever?" He asks grinning like crazy.

"Yup, best friends forever and ever and ever" I said now smiling too.

*End of Flashback*

*Chanel's P.O.V:*

What the fu-

It's been a long time since I dreamt about my former best friend.

Anyway enough talking to yourself Chanel time to get ready for another day in hell aka school.

Skinny jeans. Check.

ATL tee. Check.

Converse. Check.

Low self esteem. Check.

Hair covering face. Check.

"Hurry up Chanel Carry we haven't got all day" texts my friend Alex who in fact does have all day because she has study leave.

"I'm coming Alex at least let me brush my teeth" I text back quickly

I literally jump out the house so me and Alex don't miss the bus but before I leave there's one thing that catches my eye.

My neighbour aka Jake Frost.

God he got hot.

And now he even had a reputation, being the schools "bad boy" and "extreme player" he is very popular with the girls and boys but I wouldn't say he had an in-particular best friend.

I mean it's not my fault being his neighbour I couldn't help but spy on him and damn was he fine, he had a full set of hard tanned abs, so he always wore tight tees to show them off. He had the best style going, black skinny jeans, which might I say fit perfectly around his bum, black vans which are very wore down, even though I know for a fact he's rich and could buy a new pair. Today he's wearing a white tee and has a gold chain just a small one around it but its hidden, he always wears that chain. Must mean something?

But the one thing that stands him out from the typical "bad boy" are his eyes. They're crystal blue and get even lighter towards the pupil and a deep dark blue is rimmed around the edges with whites specks, I know that's a lot of detail but he's was once my best friend before you know what happened.

He has gorgeous brown hair which he styles all laid back but hot and now it is summer it's gone blondy at the edges, and this looks perfect along with his angular jaw line and lips so smooth and pink you just want to kiss them, and his natural tan is a added bonus since it won't go away after the summer!

"Chanel back to reality?"

"Chanel are you there??" Says Alex making me blush, god I hate being so pale.

"Oh yeah sorry just had something on my mind" I reply while simultaneously being saved by the school bell.

"Ah come on then Mr. Cox's class first and you know what he's like" Alex says dragging me along.
