I won't tell you who I am. Who I am isn't important. What I am also isn't important, but I will tell you that. I won't exactly tell you who they are. I have given them names to keep their identities safe, and so you can keep up. But I won't tell you who we are. Not yet.

There are five of us all together. I wouldn't quite call us misfits, but I also wouldn't call us fits. Granted I don't think anybody calls anybody fits, but I'm sure you get what I mean. We all banded together, a sort of team, a group of kids against the world. And we really were against the world.

We didn't exactly mean to get thrown into this "team" though. You can call it what you want. Fate, accident, coincidence. Doesn't matter. What matters is that we are together and we are stuck together. A bond was formed on that day and that bond has yet to fall apart, though I'm sure it will. Forever doesn't exist for people like us. Not many of us can make it that long.

I'm sure you want to know what I'm talking about. Don't worry. I'll tell you. People always have to know. They need to know every little unimportant detail. I guess we weren't even unimportant enough to be known. Fortunately I always had quite a bit of alone time to think about things like that. Anyways back to how we met. I never had anyone to stop and talk to in the halls when I got to school, so I had about ten minutes to myself every morning. Technically I had everyday to myself, but I'll get to that later. So I was just taking my time and leisurely strolling along. No big deal, right? It wasn't a big deal until I saw this huge jock running right to me. This would not have been a big deal 99% of the time , but the look on his face scared me. The fear was more than just obvious. It was hit you on the head, look at me I'm fear! So I ran. I ran in the same direction he did. I wasn't sure what we were running from, but I decided that I'd want to be with the muscle monster just to be safe.

Muscle Monster ran into the old shop classroom. The school shut down the class a few years back because of "one too many accidents." I suppose it was for the best. Muscle Monster slammed the door right in my face. I anxiously pulled the door open, hoping to avoid the cause Muscle Monster's panic. I too slammed the door shut and took a moment to catch my breath. "You can't be here! What if they saw you? You could get us all killed!" Muscle Monster yelled angrily. That's when I made the decision to call him Hulk from now on.
"Don't have a rack attack. Who's chasing us anyways?" I asked. I didn't appreciate people yelling at me for no reason. Actually that raised a question in my mind, but before I got to ask it, Hulk said, "monsters." It was so quiet you might have missed it if you weren't listening. "Would you shut up? We're trying to have shop class." An old man hollered from behind a wooden table with two students facing him. I couldn't believe it. People were actually in the shop classroom taking... Shop class. My previous question popped up in my brain again. "You guys can...see me?" I questioned. "Hun, we are more than just seeing you. We're just like you," The old man replied simply.
So that's how we met. Just four kids and a fossil in a shop class. We were all alike. Oh. Did I forget to mention we're dead?
