chapter 3

When we got to the class it was history, the most boring class of all. I turned my textbook to the right page, but that was as far as I got. I soon zoned of to my own thoughts, thinking about how my mate would look. I was wondering when I would meet him.

"I hope he is tall and cute" my inner wolf Amazon squealed "Yeah, with sparkling black eyes and awesome abs." I added. "But most of all, I hope he treats us with love and respect, and not like Martha and Susan do. Man I sure wish dad was still  here"she said. "We could just hope" I responded, then the bell rang brining me back to reality.

AFTER SCHOOL

I packed my books in my bag and went to the parking lot. There Linzy  was waitting  for me, playing with her keys, next to her car. We got in and drove of to her house. the drive was silent but peaceful. we pulled up to the drive way , we got out and went in her house." Mom I'm home ."she anounced. She took my hand in hers and walked up the stairs to her room with me following behind.She opened her door and we sat an her bed."Now tell me what happened today.Why did you cut again?"She asked."I don't know .I just had a bad morning."I reply. "That is not an answer Eth." she said with a worried tone.It's not like I wanted to cut. It's just that I can help it, it's like an addiction whenever I feel anxiety." It's the only way......to feel relief."I say."I'm just so sick and tired of all this abuse at home and school. I've had enough.""You haven't found your mate yet, right?"she asks."Yeah..so?"I answer."Why don't you run away? You might find your mate and all the abuse will stop."she suggests."You're right.You know I will....I'll do it."I say ."I'm leaving today."I tell her. "I'm gonna miss you."she said hugging me. "Me too. I'll call whenever I get the chance to." I say at the verge of tears. "I'd better go, they will be  changing shifts in 20 minutes."  

We said our good byes and I rushed home. bursting threw the door and pick up a duffel bag of clothes. I wrote a letter to my step mother and sister.

Dear step-mom and step-sister                                                                                                                                                                        I'm leaving , don't  dare to look for me. Although I don't want to go, I'm tiered of beind a victim of your abuses.I wish the best for you in life.

I folded the letter and left. when I had crossed the boarders I turned into my wolf form. I then ran away as fast as I could. After running non-stop for about an hour I stumbled across a lake. I set my bag down and took a drink of water. When a man with sparkling black hair and blue,green eyes appeared along with two wolfs behind him."Who are you and what are you doing in my territory?"He said firmly.I turned back to my human form."I'm  Ethna, Ethna Jones. I ran away from my pack the, Blood Demons, and ended up here." I explained."Why did you run away?"He asked with concern in his voice. " I was the runt of the pack , and for that I was tormented and bullied by every one." I answered."If you'd like you can stay with us the Fire Angels.?"He commended . I humbly accepted his offer. 

"Turn back and follow us."he says. I did as told and changed back to my wolf form and followed. As we approached the clearing and I smelt........
