Helen gently planted a soft kiss on the forehead of her unconscious mother, who lied on the hospital bed with a wrinkled face and an almost lifeless looking body. The very look at her figure, brought Helen to tears every single day.

Quickly averting her tear-filled eyes, she stared at her camera sitting on the chair next to her and she couldn't help but force a small smile, mentally saying , 'I'm coming for you, sweetheart. Just a few more minutes'.

She waited for a few more minutes for her father to arrive and as soon as he did, he gave her a side hug, asked her to relax for a while and let her go.

She quickly took her camera along with its stand, left the hospital, took her bicycle and began cycling towards the corniche she has been spending her time in, during the nights for the past two-three months.

As soon as she reached the corniche, she always loved visiting, she took her camera, hung it around her neck, held the stand within her arms and made her way towards it hopefully.

She loved photography. Especially capturing the video of night transforming into day and time-lapsing it to create a gif. This system of night getting over and sun rising kindled a spark of hope within her.
A hope that inspired her to keep fighting until she makes it to the brightness of the sun she longed to see arise.

'Just like the night, no matter how dark and how long, still comes to an end and how the sun still rises everyday after the night departs, a time will come when the problems of my life too would decline and bright rays of sunshine would extend its...

A time will come.. one day I'll wake up and realize, it was worth the fight.'... she always told herself.
