Mentoring the BadBoy

A favour.

I mentally screamed,clenching my fists for being this blind.
The buzzer went off to signal the end of the lesson, and start of lunch.

I grabbed my Nike backpack and stuffed my books in. Hauling my grey hoody on, I texted my best friend Nate.

Nate and I were friends since..well since I got out of my mothers womb. As well as being my best friend he has his jerk ways.

Hey, I'm heading to the cafeteria see you in ten. Xxx

I got out of the class to head to the cafeteria when someone called my name.
I stopped and turned to see the same chocolate-brown eyes.

"Hey." He looked down at me, leaning his body on the side of a random locker.

"Hello." I ask more than greet.
"Hey, um the other day I couldn't really introduce myself but, I'm Christian."

"Yes, I figured after biology." He grinned and clicked his tongue.

"Oh. Yeah. About that..I'm actually quite surprised."

"For?" I ask, trying not to sound so rude.

"Well, if I'm being honest, I haven't ever seen you in school before, or I just really am blind." He glances to my legs.

I suddenly feel a little uncomfortable and shift in my position.

"Actually you ar-"

"Ari?" Nate's voice interrupts me. He glances over from Christian to me a couple times, after he placed an arm on my shoulder embracing me a little.
Nate can sometimes be a little over protective over me, since we almost grew up together.

"Hey, um I thought you said you would be at the cafeteria, but I guess you changed plans?" He says not moving his eyes away from Christian.

I look over at Christian to see that he has a similar expression matching Nate's. The both of them glaring at each other for a particular reason I can't seem to understand.

"Well, I guess I should get going then. See you around, Aria." He lets out and gives me a small smile, and Nate a 3 second state too.

As soon as out of ear shot, Nate explodes.

"What the hell, Aria!!!" He yells at me.
I block my ear.

"What is the matter with you, how can you betray me like this!" He shouts poking my cheek.

I swat his finger away, and let out a frustrated sigh.

"What's the matter with you, Nate?"
"Why are you yelling at me, I'm right here!" I shout too, now a little annoyed.

"That...thing..that you was just flirting with is my arch nemesis CA!!"
He points where Christian was standing moments ago.

It then all registers in my head. Wait.
"WHAT?!" I say out loud.

Nate rolls his eyes, "yes dumb dumb, CA? Christian Anges. The quarterback of our school." He says in a 'duh' tone.

Shit.

So this CA guy that Nate constantly complains about since..ever, is Christian. The badboy and also known as the schools quarterback. The hot guy, my cousin.
What am I saying? Urgh. He has a
girlfriend, God sakes, Aria!

Well..that's...interesting.

2 hours later..

"So you're telling me, that there's this hot guy, who is the quarterback, and the schools badboy, and is known CA, Nate's competition since..ever. And, is trying to chat you up." My bestfriend, Ally concludes.

Ally is my best friend and my neighbour. She is the only female friend I have outside school.

I blink at her.

"Yes. No. Yes, he is hot. But no. He has a girlfriend and is not chatting me up, Ally. He's just trying to be nice to someone." I correct her.

"Yeah, sure. Whatevs."
She rolls her eyes and gets up, wearing her signature leather jacket.

"Where are you going?" I ask curiously.

"Home. I need to finish of baldy's assignment due tomorrow. See you in the morning hun."

"Well,aren't you gonna stay to plait my ha-"

She gives me a small peck and runs down the stairs, leaving with a loud slam on the door.

"Well. What's up with her?" I ask out loud to myself.

I get up and turn on the shower, waiting for it to get warm. In the mean time I workout for like 2 mins, and jump in.

After hugging myself with my strawberry scented shower gel, I wrap my towel around me and get out to dry my hair. I glance at my wet reflection in the mirror at the same time.

I dry my hair and body and get changed into a tank top and shorts, ready to watch a movie. I sneak some snacks from the fridge downstairs and sprint to my room.

When all comfy and 10 minutes already into the movie, my phone buzzes from my bedside table.

I pause the movie and reach my phone.

An unknown number.

I slide the answer call.

"Hello?"

"Aria?" The voice sounds strangely familiar and husky.

"Erm..who's this?"

"It's me Aria, Christian. From biology?"

"Oh, yeah, um sure what's up. And by the way, where did you get my number?" I speak calmly, pressing the phone closer to my ear.

"Um.. Well..lets just say I have my ways, and I just called to ask for a favour." He replies, hesitantly.

"Yeah?" I wonder what favour I could do for him.

"Can you be my girlfriend?"

A|N: Well, sorry for the late update, I was a little busy with exams and all that shiz, so. Here's the second chapter, hope you liked it.
