Zombie Apocalypse

Love at first sight

(Hey guys this is my first story and I hope you all like it and if it doesn't make sence I am truly sorry I really am and if you hate zombie apocalypses I am sorry that was the first thing I thought of. Anyway I hope you guys like it ^-^)

I was sitting at the dinner table eating breakfast, with my dog buster at my feet. I turned the TV on the news like every other day when an important report came on. "There everywhere! Dead crawling creatures! One bit and you become one! Run for you li- gwaaaaaaa." That was all he before he got bit by one of them. I stood out of my chair and took off upstairs to grab my bow and arrows and a couple of knifes, buster followed behind me. Buster was a killer German Shepherd that could kill anyone that got to close to me. We opened the window and climbed on the tree branch that was a foot or two from my window, buster jumped on after me, I looked down and all there was zombies, crawling ones, running ones, some eating the guts of innocent people, all most made me sick to my stomach but I held it back. Buster heard screaming from far away then started barking, I turned around and saw two boys frighting them off. One really tall on with brown shaggy hair about the height of a 20 year old shooting the zombies heads off, the other on was a little smaller then him with blond hair about 17 or 18, using an ax and choosing off all the zombies heads off. As I stood there staring I saw one zombie about to bit the blond kid, I pulled my bow back and released an arrow that went straight though the zombies head and fell to the ground.

The blond haired boy turned and looked at me as the zombie hit the ground, I jump down from the tree and buster follows. I walk over to them and a knife behind my back hidden just in case they try to attack. "Thanks for saving me" the blond hair boy said to me "You welcome" I said griping the knife tight. "Who the hell are you?" The brown shaggy haired boy said loading his gun. "Nicole, Nicole Heart. And you two?" Staring at them holding buster by his collar.

"I'm Jacob." The blond haired boy said cleaning his ax. "I'm David..." The brown haired boy said. "Well its nice to meet the two of you, now I must take my leave goodbye" I said starting to walk away when all of a sudden a hand grabs my arm, I pull out the knife and swings it then stops about an inch away from its head, realizing it was Jacob. "Don't leave, how about you and you dog come with us, we can protect you" [she's really cute, and I hope she'll come along with us] he thought looking at her. "-sighs- fine I'll go but I don't need protection! I can take care of myself got it!" Staring at both of them. "Got it" they both said but Jacob said it with a big smile on his face, I smile back then look at buster. He's glaring his teeth at both of them. "Buster stop!" I yelled at him and he starts to whimper a little but then stops. "Good boy" I pet him behind hi ears and he was his tail happily and cheerfully. "Awww he's so cute" Jacob said petting buster.
Buster wagged his tail happily and licks Jacobs hand, "awww thats more cute" he said smiling. "You both are childish!" David yelled at us whitch made buster snarl at him and barked. "Takes it east you mut!" He said glaring at buster. "Don't call him a mut! Your the mut!!" I said yelling and grabing him by the collar of his shirt. "Grrrrr, fine" he said looking away. "Good" let's him go and walks away and buster follows.

"Why the hell would you say that!?!?!?!" Jacob said glaring at David. "I was just speaking my mind, you both are childish for loving a dog like that" he said admiring his knife then throwing it and drilling a zombie in the head. Jacob still glaring at him says "so what if it is true! You were the same way when we had killer! Before he got killed..." He says crying. David stares at Jacob in shock, "How do you know that Jacob? You where to young to even remember..." He says hugging Jacob. "After seeing buster it just happened in my head and I remembered... I wish he was still with us today..." He says crying and hugging back. "I know Jacob, I do to but he's in a better place with mom and dad now ok?" David said patting Jacob's head. "Ok" Jacob says smiling and wiping his tears. Nicole watches far away and almost cries cause of there conversation and makes her remember about her parents dying when she was 3 and losing her other dog Sam, she dies trying to protect Nicole from a pervert that wanted to rap her, from her way home from school. "I should have never been mean to them" wipes her tears and walks over to them. "Nicole?" Jacob and David said at the same time and saw that she had been crying and they both pull her into a tight hug. "Its ok Nicole" Jacob said kissing her forehead. "Ya were here for you when ever you need us" David said kissing her cheek. Nicole blushes bright red after what they both did but hides it.
