Getting Ready For The Party

It was lunch time at school and my boyfriend and I were sitting in the caffateria around our lunch table talking to one another as usual.

Suddenly I saw my boyfriends best friend Aundre running towards with excitement plastered on his face. " Hey Derick! " so Derick answered with a confused look on his face " Hi?".

Then Aundre asked " Are you coming to Chris' party tonight?" So Derick replied with an exciting tone in his voice " Chris is having a party tonight?! " with no hesitance Aundre exclaimed " Yea man haven't you heared " " No what time is it ?".

Having your girlfriend sitting right beside you him, you would thought he would have turned to me and ask me if I wanted to go.

None of that happened so I thought about breaking up their conversation by clearing my throat.

That didn't help so I did it more arrogantly this time around. After doing I did that the both of them turned around staring at me with an annoying look on their faces. So I said " Seriously you have your girlfriend beside you and you don't even ask her if she wants to go!".

He replied to that by asking " Grace to you want to go to Chris' party tonight?". That's more I like it.

I tapped my chin with my index finger while staring into the sky and fake think. Yes fake think because I already knew the answer is yes but I just wanted to take up their time spitefully.

I finally tell them my answer that I already knew ages ago " My answer is yes " then Derick said to Aundre " You heared the lady, the answer is yes ".

Out of no where Aundre just blurted out " Whoooo! Party tonight ". Everyone in the caffateria turned around looking at Aundre with a constipated look on their faces.

But Aundre didn't care a bit he just continued running like a mad man that was let loose out of an hospital for mad people.

After all that excitement I turned to Derick and I said " You really need to get sane people for friends " then he replied " Then I need to get a new girlfriend ".

After he said that I slapped his hands playfully and we both giggled.

" Hey mom " while baffling my eyes and smiling " Hey Grace " with a big smile on her face , the suddenly the smile dropped and she asked " What do you want?" I answered her with a funny look on my face while fanning my hand at her " Oh nothing I just love my mother ".

So she replied " Really " with a big smile on her face, then the smile drops again " No seriously what do you want ?".

I dropped my hands at my side with an irritated look on my face " Ok fine, can I go to a party with my friends tonight ?" With no hesitation she just answered " No ".

" Please mom my friends are really looking forward to me coming ". Then she replied angrily " Oh so you were at school planning to go to a party without consulting me! " then I answered in my mind saying yes but loud I answered " No I told them that I have to ask you first ".

" Ok you can go ". I jumped in excitement while hugging my mother saying " Thank you thank you thank you " and with me saying that she just expressed her feelings to me by saying " Hey don't get too excited now cause you know when this head of mine change its mind the answer is just no " .

After she said that I held my head down while walking towards the stairs saying " Sorry ". And after she turned back around continue doing what she was doing, I started dancing up the stairs quietly.

Oh come on we all know Graceian McCloud is not sorry, pshhh I can't believe she accepted that a fuck!

When I entered my room I quickly throw my bag on the ground and I picked up my phone in hand hurriedly dialing my boyfriend's phone.

" Hey Derick ... What time did Aundre say the party was starting? ............... Ok ok find out and call me back .......... Ok that sounds great ...... Yea see you tonight.

Well Derick says that he will come and pick me at 8:30, so I need to start picking out something to wear.

I went in my closet looking for the perfect outfit to wear. It wasn't easy looking for the perfect outfit. I took out more than ten suits of clothing and tried them on, but none of them worked for me.

I went in my closet and I searched some more, then finally I found the perfect outfit. It was a soldier color shorts with the pockets sticking out, a red crop top and a black wedge heels. PERFECT.

By the time I was finished searching, the 7:30 p.m. news was reading. When I saw that, my actions sped up. I quickly threw my clothes off and wrap the towel around my sweaty, slippery and undressed body.

After doing so I stepped out of my room and I walked down the hall to the bathroom briskly. I entered the bathroom, turned on the shower and step into the bath tub and start showering.

It did not take much time for me to end my shower. PEOPLE THIS DOES NOT MEAN I DIDN'T SHOWER PROPERLY! ( JUST SAYING ).

After I came out of the bathroom I walked back down the hall to my room briskly. When I entered my room, I drew myself off with the towel and put my clothes on then iron my hair.

After doing those I quickly add some makeup to my face. When I was through adding my makeup it was 8:28 p.m. and my door bell rang.

" Answer that door for me please mom!" I shouted from upstairs, and she replied from downstairs " Ok!". I quickly slide into my heels, grab my purse and run downstairs to meet the guys.

When I got downstairs I saw mom and the guys talking with an addition of Aundre girlfriend Tara.

I interrupt their conversation, " Hey guys are you ready to go?" And they replied with dazzle in their eyes when they saw what I was wearing saying " Sure we are" then I turned to my mom saying " bye mom I'll soon be back " and she replied " Bye don't stay too late " and I answered " Don't worry I won't, let's go guys " and they said " Bye Mrs McCloud" and she replied in a soft tone " Bye".
