A Trip To Death

It Seems Strange

Gracian's POV

The time was getting late and we all decided to have  feats and chat with each other  before going to bed.

" Hey K-C could you pass the sauce for me please " Kerry said while stretching out her right hand to take it.

" Here you go " She said in a soft tone. " Hey guys " Aundre said out of no where " Have you ever noticed this phone right here " He added.

" Yea it looks so old and dirty " I contributed to what Aundre was saying while raising my left eye brow " I don't think it works because it has been here since my daddy and I use to come here " Kerry said while furrowing her eye brows.

" Hey speaking about your dad, where is your dad?" I asked with a confused look on my face " Um " She said and then paused while holding down her head

" What's wrong Kerry " Aundre asked while rubbing the top of Kerry's back " I don't think I'm healed enough to talk about my dad " She said slowly with her head still hung down.

" Ok whenever your ready but your going to eventually have to tell someone about it " K-C said while holding the palm of Kerry's hand.

" Do you guys think that if I share this with you it will help me a little " Kerry asked us sadly " Of course I'm positive " K-C said trying to comfort Kerry although she knows not what it is.

" Ok. It was three years ago when my dad was on his way to this cabin, and he packed food and some clothes to go with him and my mom and I helped him. And when he went into the car and turned on the engine he drove away and we were watching the car as it was driving down the road and by the time the car was about six blocks away my mom and I went inside " Kerry said and then she just broke down into tears.

" What happened Kerry " I asked in concern " By the time we walked in we heared an explosion and we ran back outside to see what it was and when we went out there we saw that the vehicle that my daddy was in is on fire " She said while sobbing and my eyes widen when she said so cause I was completely shocked.

" I'm so sorry to hear that Kerry, I hope you feel better soon " Dave said with a sorrowful look on his face " Thank you I'll try " Kerry said tears flowing down her cheeks.

After a moment of silence the old house phone began ringing out of no where and everyone just jumped out of the trauma that they were in a moment ago.

" I thought that phone didn't work " Derick said in shock " Well it's ringing now so answer it " I shouted.

" Ok Ok I'll answer it " He said raising both his hands in the air which shows a sign of surrender " Hello " He said in a shaky tone " Hello " He said once more.

" Did you hear any thing " Dave asked " No I didn't even get a response " Derick said while putting down the phone.

" Well that was weird " I said while scratching the top of my head " Oh come on that was just a coincidence maybe the phone was malfunctioning because it's not yet fully wrecked " K-C said while shrugging her shoulders.

After that was said the phone began ringing again but this time when I reached out for it, it stopped " Ok it's a coincidence nothing is wrong, that always happens to wrecked things " I said trying to get my mind off of what I'm actually thinking.

" Guys let's just go to bed we'll hopefully forget everything that happened today if we do " Kerry suggested " Yea that's a good idea, come on guys " I said while pulling the arm of my boyfriend ( Derick ).

Ha! These people are so stupid no wrecked phone will ring out of no where like that if it's wretched it's wrecked, it must of been something messing around with the damn phone * slaps hand over mouth * 😮 I said too much.
