Winter Falls

Today's the first day of high school. I slowly repeat that in my head... First day of high school! Oh my god. This is when party's happen and the most drama happens.

I get up hesitantly because its so cold and the fall air nips at my nose in the morning. I run into the bathroom and get ready for my shower. I get in and realise I haven't shaved in a week. It's so much. Well first impressions last forever so I pick up the razor and shave them furry animals.

I soak in the warmth of the hot water and dream about how amazing today is going to be. It has to be perfect!

What if it isn't!?

Gosh Jade, you're so negative. Stay positive.

I fix my wet curly hair and make sure it's perfect. I go to my room and sit in my towel for five minutes trying to figure out what to wear. I see the peach flowing top and i felt that I was supposed to wear that today. I get the top and my white skinny jeans. They are a little big on my because my mom says I'm overweight.

I go back to the bathroom and pit on a little mascara. I never really wear mascara because it feels weird but might as well. I also but some eos on my lips. I live for that stuff. It makes my lips feel so soft. Haha.

As I sit down to eat breakfast the bus goes by. Crap. First day and I may miss the bus. I grab my backpack and run for the door. Luckily I have such a nice bus driver and he was waiting for me.

"Good morning Ms. Jade Casnello," said John, my wonderful bus driver.

"Good morning Mr. John!"

I slowly walk towards an empty seat and put in my headphones. Hmm. What should I listen to? Then the perfect song comes in my mine. Of course, Best Song Ever by One Direction would be amazing.

As the bus pulls up to the school, my heart skips a beat. I'm at Winter Falls High School. I walk towards the front doors when I hear something behind me.

"JADE CASNELLO," a male voice tells behind me.

I turn around in confusion to see its my best friend, John Liner. He may be my best friend but I have feelings for him as more than a friend. His hair is perfect today and I smell a little bit of cologne. Why would he be wearing cologne? Ugh. He's probably trying to impress his crush, Lilly Anne Porter.

He's had a crush on her since 6th grade. Everyday he would talk to her, and try to impress her but he'd always say he failed. I don't really talk to her. Why you ask? I'm not considered popular at Winter Falls. If you go to my school you'll understand that my school is practically a big group of cliché.

"Hey," I say under my breath being a little nervous.

"Hey! Aren't you gorgeous today," he exclaims back with his big blue eyes smiling. Wait. Did he just call me gorgeous. Well he's my best friend. Why wouldn't he.

"Haha. Thanks. I smell cologne. Is thats yours," I replied giggling a little.

"Yeah," he whispers hesitantly

"Well we better get to class. See ya!"

As I walk into my first class, I see him. The douche bag of the class, Mark Porter, Lilly Anne's twin. He told me he had a crush on me before school went out but I never had feelings for him. As class went on, I kept seeing him stare at me. I wish he'd stop.

*ding*

I grab my stuff and head to lunch. I walk in the cafeteria and grab a tray. As I walk to my table I run into Lilly Anne. Literally. My spaghetti went all over her.

"OH MY GOD. WATCH WHERE YOU'RE GOING JADE. THIS IS 100% CASHMERE. YOUR PAYING FOR MY DRY CLEANING BILL, BITCH," Lilly Anne yells in a tone.

"I'm so sorry. I didn't mean too. Of course, I'll pay for your bill," I say in such a worried tone.

I run to John and gave him the run down of what just happened. I like to call it getting "Queen Bee'd."

The day went by pretty fast but not fast enough. When the final bell went off I almost jumped out of my seat with joy! I ran to the bus to get home but I had loads of homework. As soon as I got home I started on it. In the middle of my math homework, the doorbell goes off. I go to answer it. I fix my hair and open to see who it was.

As I looked up, I recognised the familiar face.

"What are you doing here," I ask raising my tone a little.
