Diner Night

*That's what Kaylen wore to dinner*
Me and Connor are now back at home and chilling in my room. "So what's new down there in Florida" I asked "not much. Dalton is still staying out of trouble" he said. "That's good" "yeah" then my phone rung I picked it up and it was Jake. "Hey Jake" "okay" "yeah bye" I said. "What's up" Connor asked. "Nothing Jake wants my to come over for a little bit" "okay" I grabbed my phone and we both walked down stairs.  "Hey dad Jake wants me to come over for a little bit" "okay but be home before 8" "okay. Bye Connor." I kissed his cheek and then left. I walked over to Jakes place and once I got there I saw him, Myles Kalin, and Cam. "Hey babe" Jake said. "Hey" he kissed my cheek. *30 min latter* Me, Jake and Myles are in his room. Kalin and Cam went home for some reason. Then someone knocked on the door. "Come in" Jake said. "Hey Alex you're dad is here to get you. He said something about taking you and Connor out to dinner for you're birthday" Mrs.Parrish said. "Okay Thank you" I said. She left and I got up. Jake stood up and I said "Bye Jake" "Yeah bye" he said. "What's wrong" "nothing go and have fun with Connor!" He yelled "Jake are really gonna be like that" I asked but he didn't answer. "Whatever. Bye Myles" I said. He waved and smiled a little. I left and saw my dad and Connor outside. "Guess where your dad is taking us" Connor said "where" "The Cheesecake Factory!" "Omg that's like our place!" "I know" We all went home and got ready. After we were ready we left. *At The Cheesecake Factory* we sat down and got our drinks and then we told the waitress what we wanted. We and Connor got salads and my dad got a stake. We talked and waited for out food. "So you know how I applied for the New York Film Academy" Connor said. "Yeah" I said "well I got in" he said "wow congrats" I said. "Thanks" he said. We all talked and then our food came witch kinda shut everyone up. We eat them my dad payed. "Kaylen follow us" Connor said grabbing my hand. "Um okay" "so I was thinking since you and Connor haven't seen each other in a long time and since he's also never seen Cali before you could so him around in your very on Jeep" my dad said as we walked around a conner to see a bright red Jeep. I screamed and hinges my dad. "I love you dad!" He laughed and hugged back. "I love you too but don't just think me Connor bought it but he just let me show you" I looked at Connor and then jumped in his arms. "Thank you Connor! I love you" "You're welcome. I love you too" after that happened we got I and I drove Connor around Cali. "Watch her Connor" my dad said "I will!" Then we drove off.
