The Meet Of Your Mate

(Chance POV)

"Hey Chance can you head to the store and get me some groceries?" My mother asked.

"Yea, I'm about to head there anyways. I need to grab some more cloths" I say politely.

"Thanks Chance, be careful and drive safe, I don't want to lose you like I did your father..." My mother whispers.

"Momma you know I will, don't let anyone in the house, lock the door until I get back." I say. I look down at her and see her nod her head. I head out to my truck and start the engine and speed off.

(Karina's POV)

I get Tyrina in my car and make sure she is tightly buckled in as I give her, her play toys. When Tyrina gets satisfied I head to the front driver's seat. When I'm also safely buckled in I start my engine and take off to the store.

10 minutes later...

Tyrina and I safely get to the store, I get a cart, grab Tyrina and put her car seat in the cart. I head into the store to do alot of shopping. I sigh as I head in the store preparing to get alot of food. As I enter the store I inhale a sweet blueberry/ vanilla scent. My wolf yells excitedly 'mate!! Go find mate!!' I start to turn around and I bump into a tall, handsome looking man. He chuckles slightly as I accidentally bump into him. God he has a beautiful laugh. It's music to my ears. I look up as I trail up his body, then I get to his jaw line, damn someone would cut there finger on his jaw line I say to my self. 'He is so sexy Karina, talk to him!!' My wolf purrs at her own words. My god my wolf is not innocent. I open my mouth to say something until I look into his eyes to see an angry and hurt expression on his face as he looks at me then to Tyrina. Uh oh.. I have explaining to do...

(Chance POV)

I get to the store to grab a couple of things. A few minutes later I am almost to the check out line until I smell this amazing orange/ waterfall scent. 'GO TO MATE CHANCE SHE IS HERE!!' My wolf screams at me. Damn he gives me 3 headaches in separate parts of my head. I start to walk towards the scent until I see a girl freeze like she is talking to her wolf. I'm about to tap on her shoulder until she turns around quickly and runs into me, I chuckle slightly. I watch her travel up my body stopping at my jaw line, all of the sudden I hear a baby sneeze. 'Mate has a baby!?!' My wolf yells at me angrily. 'She's suppose to have one with us not anyone else!!', I yell angrily at my wolf. She sees the way I'm looking at her she opens her mouth to say something, she looks back at her baby and back at me then makes an '0' shape with her mouth. I'm not going to have a mate who already has a baby with someone else. 'I'm sorry Lucky.. I have to do this'. My wolf just whimpers at me.

Sadness fill my eyes then quickly takes over by anger. "What's your name girl?" I ask her through gritted teeth. She looks sadly at me as she whispers sadly "Karina Hamilton." What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl. I say to myself sadly. "I Chance Parker, reject you Karina Hamilton as my mate and future Luna of the Dark Moon Pack." I say. The next thing she does, has me sad and confused. Fire fills her eyes then is washed with water, then back to her natural bright green eyes. She softly says "I'm not accepting your rejection until you know me and my story." She turns around and walks away.

(Karina POV)

I can't believe he rejected us... He doesn't know us or how I ended up with Tyrina. He's going to regret this, I say to my wolf. 'His wolf is sad Karina. Mate is sad.' She whimpers. I look at my beautiful daughter as she just smiles away, I wish I could be as happy as she is.
