Prologue:
-James' P.O.V.-
Mary was playing with her porcelain doll that her dad had gotten for her for her birthday with her brother, Casper. I was watching this with Annabel, Kyle and Carrie; we were watching from the inside of Mary. Mary didn't know any of us existed, she believed whenever she fell unconscious, she'd stay that way, but that's when we took over. She was clueless, gullible and just the perfect person to use to manipulate others. She listened to me.
I told her to fall, she would.
I tell her to scream, she'll scream as loud as she can for however long I wanted.
Having control of part of her brain helps me take over her body more frequently than the others, but I still let them have their fun.
"Casper, give me my doll back!" Mary yelled, stomping her foot in protest as Casper ran upstairs into the attic with her doll. I would have laughed at this, but that was Mary's doll and I could tell Mary wasn't having any fun with this. I could feel the sadness slowly creep into Mary as a tear fell down her cheeks.
I growled, deciding it was time to make a special appearance. I slowly crept into the rest of her brain, slowly taking it over with the rest of her body. As Mary slumped backwards, I gained control of her body and smirked.
"Ready or not, here I come," I laughed softly, pushing myself off the wall and slowly up the attic stairs to where Casper had gone.
The stairs creaked every time I stepped on one, but I didn't care. I was set on finding Casper and getting the doll back and to get some revenge on the way. No one hurts Mary. No one, but me.
As I neared the top of the stairs, I saw Casper holding the doll out the window, looking at Mary- me, with a taunting smirk.
"I'll drop the doll Mary, if you come any closer," He snickered, dropping the doll, but catching it again.
"I'm not Mary. Mary's gone." I answered, taking another step closer to him.
Casper looked at me, confused, "Mary what happened to your voice? It's deeper and really creepy."
"It's not Mary anymore." I growled again, clenching my fists to scare Casper a bit more.
He knew about Mary's disorder, he knew that there were others living inside of her who changed her personality to match our own. He knew that we showed up whenever she fell unconscious. He knew everything about us. He was just hoping I was Mary and that I was just playing a joke on him.
Caspers face paled, pulling the doll back in and closing the window, "I'm sorry, okay. It was just a joke, Kyle!"
I smirked, knowing he was scared of us, but frowned, angry that he still wasn't able to remember who was who.
"It's James actually. I find it incredibly rude that you forgot me. Remember the promise I made to you?" I asked, closing my eyes, remembering the moment.
"Ring around the Rosie."
"Don't!" Casper screamed, moving away from me.
"Pocketful of posies."
"Stop!" He yelled, covering his ears.
"Husha, Husha."
"No!" Casper yelled again, tightly closing his eyes, trying to block me out.
"We all fall down!"
