Prologue:
Deep into the quiet cold night where the dull moon is surrounded by the dark lifeless sea, lays the mourning woods. The sweet sour tears and the presence of fear emits from the young woman who is being drag by the neck like a scared animal. Her hands are bounded by a decaying rope and a rotting chain tightens her sore neck. She is cover in dirt with no shoes, her clothes are torn, her knees bleeds, and her rich black hair is cover in dead leafs and twigs. She has lost her strength, her faith, and the desire to live because the betrayal and the misunderstanding has wounded her heart to the extent that not even anger or hate can replace the pain and agony she is in.
She tries to get up as she is being pulled and dragged like an animal heading towards death. She tries to hold on that that little dignity she has left. Among all that pain she forces herself up, but her legs hold no strength that she tumbles a couple of times adding more injury to herself. She is too weak to shift into her wolf form. Dark circles rest heavy underneath her deep blue eyes.
This poor soul watches as her pack members, the family she grew up with, the ones she trusted with her dear life, and the ones that she had been so kind stand there with their heads facing the floor beneath them. Most of them pity her while others don't know what to feel as to her execution will take place at midnight. Some cannot bear to witness of what they are about to see, but they do not have any choice for they are forced to see her death. She is left speechless even her closest friends don't bother to look at her in the eyes. Not a single goodbye, not a single word to console her aching soul. Even the silence feels as cold as the night itself and although it hasn't snowed in months the air feels icy.
The animals of the night cry because they feel the presence of death roaming. The owls, bats, crickets, and the wolves cry for the injustice of an innocent soul that will be taken away. For some reason these creatures know that death is going to take place and evil will rise, so they decide to flee far away as possible from the upcoming hell and a blood bath that will mark a new world full with fear, agony, and more death. Knowing what is going to come next, this poor young woman breaks down in hopes that this misunderstanding is nothing more but a gruesome nightmare.
"P-please" she begs between sobs.
"Listen to me. I'm innocent. I-I didn't do it."
She stares into her father's eyes hoping that he will believe her. Innocence runs in her veins, but sadly everyone was poison to believe otherwise. Tears run down her numb face.
"Father, you have to believe me, I will never hurt anyone."
She tries to reach her father's hands with hers, but he pushes her to the ground. She falls hard and scraps her palms, she is already in physical pain but her agony is within her soul and her heart. She cannot understand why she is being betray or better yet why is she being treated that way by her own flesh and blood, her family, her friends, and her pack. The people she adore and love are being unreasonable, unfair, and wrong she thought. If only she has the heart to speak the truth, then maybe it will save her, but the truth is far too horrid that she dares not speak it from her lips.
The man that stands in front of her, her own father, had already decided her fate. He believes he is saving the world, from the monster he bred . He looks at her with disgust and steps forward and bents down to be face to face with his daughter.
