Grester: How it all began

Chapter 30

I called Goose inside and closed the door, facing Chester once again. I smiled and walked over placing my arms around his neck I planted a kiss on his lips and didn't pull away.  He pulled me up off of the ground and I wrapped my legs around his torso. I was going to marry Chester See. I was going to be Grace Helbig-See. Mrs. See. Maybe Mommy to a little baby, one day. I squeezed Chester tight, never wanting to let go. "I love you Chester,  so so much." I whispered in his ear, "Not nearly as much as I love you, I will never stop loving you Grace, ever, till death do us part. " I kissed him once again, my legs still around his torso. He walked over to the couch and let me fall onto it with him careful not to crush me. But when 60 pounds joined us Chester knew I was going to die. "Goose! Leave mommy and daddy alone for a minute. Daddy wants to have some fun with mommy." He lifted himself up and picked Goose up before putting her in her bed. "Stay. I'll join you later." He said. He turned around, mostly with his head and made a stupid face before coming back. "Get over here." I put my arms out and wait until he falls into them once again but he doesn't. Instead I'm lifted up bridal style and being walked up the stairs. "Chester?" I asked kind of just wanting to hear his voice through his chest. "Yes my love?" He says, no restraint on his voice from carrying me. "After we're married okay?" He knew what I was referring to. "Is that what you thought fun was? I was just going to take you to the park so we can play in the sandbox. Naughty girl Grace!" I laughed at his response and he plopped my onto the bed. "The longer I wait the better I expect. I am expecting a lot from you Mrs. See." He wiggled his eyebrows. I laughed and rolled my eyes. "For now Some cuddling would be fine." He softly laid me on the bed and laid down beside me. I yawned. He wrapped his arms around me and pressed his chest to mine. "Did you know that you are the most beautiful woman I've ever laid eyes on?" He whispered. I blushed. "Am not."
"Yes you are. You are perfect to me."
"Stop it."
"I love you Grace Helbig, and I always will." I cuddled him closer and closed my eyes. "I don't deserve you." I whispered so quiet I was sure he couldn't hear, and fell asleep.

I woke up to sirens. "Chester?" I wake up to see him a little bit father down on the bed cuddled with Goose. That dog took my spot! It was around midnight so I got up and grabbed my laptop. I needed to edit my video for Friday. I opened up my video library and searched for my recently shot footage. I clicked the file it was in and waited for it to load. The file showed empty. My footage was gone? I mean I guess it's fine since I have another video I wanted to shoot anyway. "Grace? What are you doing up?" Chester moaned. "I've been sleeping for like 6 hours. I'm good. I need to refilm my video that footage is gone." I replied. I shut my laptop and turned the light on. "Oh. Want a red bull? Or what about some late night Taco Bell. We never ate dinner..." He wanted Taco Bell. "You pick up the Taco Bell and I'll shoot my video, but I need you for some of it so don't take to long deal?" He smiled. "Deal." We got up and I got ready. Chester ran out the door before I could even change my mind.  I was Applying my makeup and doing my hair. I put on one of Chesters sweaters and some jeans and went into my office. I moved my yellow chair aside to make room for another one, this chair for Chester. I readjusted my camera so that they both fit and set up my lighting. I pressed record and sat down, I was going to be careful not to use my left hand as much so that they didn't see the ring. "It's currently 11:57 and I'm about to eat Taco Bell." I paused knowing this would be where my title screen is but also because I was thinking why I was doing this. "So hello. I know a FRIdairy was expected for today but I lost my footage yet again, I've been thinking about getting a new computer. Or getting old old one a new memory so that it remembers where to put things or not to throw out important things. Then again is any of this important? We're all going to die someday." I started to stare off into the distance for a while before remembering that I had a video to shoot. "Anyway I know you might be wondering why there is a second chair..." Almost as if instructed, as soon as I motioned to the chair Goose, who I hadn't noticed walk in, jumped up and sat down beside me. "Well I guess it's for Goose now." I giggled. "So I was debating on whether or not I wanted to do this video or not. I won if any of you were wondering. Other me sucks at debating. But anyway I am making a very special video not only that would be special for me but for you also. At that moment I heard the door open. "Chester come up here for a minute." I said. I heard his footsteps and started taking again. "I'm here to tell you about my significant other." His footsteps stopped at the door. "I know you guys have written numerous fanfictions about us and while I've read some of them I must say you guys have such gross perverted minds. Besides those like 2 people who don't. Good for you. So Goose you may be excused." Chester whistled and Goose hopped off the chair and towards him. "So with out further ado, give it up for Grester." I held my right hand out, gesturing for Chester to walk on frame. He came in and sat down. "Hey f-f"
"Yup great start." I started laughing.
"So guys as you guys must probably already know, this is Chester Lionel See."
"That I am." I continued laughing.
"And Chester and I are dating. Well is it still called that?" I turned to Chester and asked. "Uh well yea I think so. We should google it later."
"Deal."
"For all of you who are wondering why Grace wont use her left hand. It's because she broke it." Chester said. "Yup folks I broke it. Okay no I didn't but it's because..." I nudged Chester as I cue to finish. "Be-because she-" I started laughing. "Oh now I get it okay. Okay I got this." He did a little dance and I started laughing again. "She isn't using her left hand because of this." He grabbed my hand, his soft delicate fingers interlocking with mine. He pulled my hand up to show the engagement ring. "I proposed to her. And she said yes. In fact I recorded it. So your welcome." I looked at him and smiled. "So. I Grace Anne Helbig an engaged!" I imitated the same face from the first time I said it as a joke. "I am engaged to this beautiful idiot named Chester See." I smiled at the camera then turned to Chester. "I love you." I said.
"I love you too." We both smiled and then our lips collided. It was a quick peck and then I got up and pressed record again ending the video. "Thank you Chester."
"Anything for you. Now let's go eat some Taco Bell.
