Chapter 6- Dreams Do Come True

Rachel-

Once it was dark out, all of us grabbed our last snacks and souvenirs before taking a place on the curb for the fireworks behind the castle. I got my Mickey ice cream and took a place between Mark and Jacob. I pulled my phone out for a cute selfie with my ice cream, but was ambushed by Mark, Jacob, Blake and Hayes. I snapped the picture, writing, "At Disney with the guys 😊❤😘" before posting it to my public Snapchat story.

Pretty soon all 13 of us were seated and the firework show began. As I watched the fireworks light up the sky, I could see from the corner of my eye that Mark kept glancing over at me; first to my face, then back to the fireworks, then to my hand resting on the top of my knee. i finally acknowledged his glances and gave him a small smile as I inter winded our fingers. I could see his cheeks burn a bright pink, even in the dark night. It felt good to hold his hand, almost natural. I sighed happily and leaned my head on his shoulder as we continued to watch the fireworks.

"Awwww," I heard Hunter say from behind us. I didn't move, despite wanting to punch him to get him to shut up, instead moving to lean into Mark more. He quickly moved his arm to rest around my shoulders to allow me to get closer, if it was even physically possible. Once the show had ended, we all made our way back to the bus, but Mark and I were inseparable. Even as we entered the hotel and went up to our room, we would not drop each other's hand. I eventually dropped his hand to get ready for bed, but when I returned from the bathroom I found Jacob already snoring in his bed and Mark sitting in my bed on his phone. I smiled and plopped down next to him.

"Hey, gorgeous."

"Hi, handsome." I leaned my head onto his shoulder and closed my eyes. He must have thought I was asleep because he whispered,"I've loved you since I laid eyes on you."

"Why thank you," I whispered back to him. I sat up and looked at him smiling. He smiled with red cheeks and scratched behind his neck, nervously. I leaned in and kissed his cheek causing his face to burn up and a huge smile to spread across his face. He was always so sweet to me and the bestest friend a girl could ask for. My heart began to flutter with every thought I had about him and realized just how much I was starting to crush on him.
