Oh my god...

It has been five months since I have been able to get back to writing this. And I am so so so so sorry!!

I was unable to use my computer for reason's that I will not get into. And I did not write the story on my phone because I can't stand how it deals with spacing and things. But I am so happy to be back to get into writing this story again. You guy's have no idea how many ideas I have for this story!!

But it has been five months I did go back and reread all of this story and I have decided to re-edit the past three chapters and make them just a bit better. I plan on putting in photos for the character's that I have added into the story.

I also would like to just remind everyone that I do have school and I have homework and everything. And every chapter that I write is almost at least 4000 words because I like making it interesting for you all and because I have to put details from the actual anime into this.

But other than that, I do hope you all enjoy continuing to read this book. Because I've got new idea's/events coming up in the next few chapters!

Now onto the fourth chapter of The masked Ghost.

~Shikamaru's P.O.V~

Walking back towards our guest house, I still held the body of the girl. She was light, surprisingly light for someone her age and height. My eyes watched her, no movement came from her. 'Sakura certainly made a strong sedative...' I thought, looking back up to the group ahead of me. Kakashi-sensei and captain Yamato were talking side by side, occasionally looking back at me and the girl. My eyes shifted to Naruto, Sai, and Sakura, who were just walking without a word.

Looking towards my teammates, Choji had his food and Ino was just staring up at the night sky. I sighed, dragging my feet against the ground in boredom. This mission went by to fast. It was hard to even believe that this masked girl had been doing all the damage to this single village. But then again, there were the other two people that the head of the village said. There was someone else out there that started the whole thing.

Heading up the small hill, everyone entered the house before suddenly stopping. Walking up behind everyone, my eyes shifted and noticed Rika standing in the darkness. She looked up from the floor towards our direction, smiling slowly when she saw us. "You're back... Were you successful?" She asked, her arms in her kimono sleeves while she walked towards us. Kakashi-sensei watched the girls movement, observing her actions. "We did. It was quite easy." Sai commented, walking to my side and pointing to her. Rika stared at the masked girl with no emotion before only smiling again.

"It is wonderful to see that you have caught our problem." She said, walking towards me with the smile still. My eyes narrowed slightly while I watched her come closer, her arms moving apart before I noticed something shining from her selves caught my attention. I tilted my head slightly, moving back somewhat. Her facial expression quickly showed anger and excitement before she moved her arm swiftly out of her sleeve, a knife in hand. Grabbing a kunai quickly out of my bag, I moved it in front of me to block her attack but her arm was stopped by another.

Captain Yamato held her wrist tightly, Rika struggling to go after the girl still with the intent to kill. "I wouldn't do it... You shouldn't cover your hand's in blood." He said, watching her when she turned to him an upset look. Her eyes seemed watery and conflicted with what she was doing. "She killed my father! She deserves what's coming to her! My father would want me to take revenge so he can rest in piece!" She shouted angrily, tugging her wrist away to continue her self certified mission that she had given herself.

Kakashi-sensei walked in front of her and grabbed the knife quickly. "You told us to capture or kill her. We chose to capture instead of kill. If you were going to do this from the beginning, you should've never asked us to come." He said, staring down at her with a serious look in his eye. Kakashi could certainly look scary if he wanted to be. The girls head dropped down before she harshly pulled her wrist from Yamato. Her body shifted and walked passed me, her feet shuffling against the ground before disappearing from our view.
