The sky split, hot white light pouring through the crack in the sky as something... Something fell. But it wasn't a wild, tumble with arms flailing everywhere and screams. No, it was a graceful fall, the person who fell from the sky. Huh, how nice. It was a female, the person faling from the sky? Yeah, a female. She had landed in the middle of the forest, collapsing not-so-gracefully into a heap, legs spread in awkward positions. Seraphina's white wings were spread out behind her, specks of dirt staining the pure white colour of them. She moved into a more comfortable position, standing slowly. Although her clothes were torn and tattered, stained from the mud, this angel still looked beautiful. Pale skin, soft features. What stood out the most was the colour of her eyes, they were violet, and if you looked close enough, golden specks could be seen. She scanned the forest, a soft breeze brushing past her and slightly ruffling her raven hair. With a sigh, she took a step forward, her bare freet pressing against the sticks and dirt that lay beneath her.

"So this is what Earth looks like..." She had whispered, finding that her voice sounded like the whisper of a breeze. Soothing, beautiful, and she was, Seraphina was quite the magnificent creature, being an angel. The angel, wings spread, continued to walk through the forest, constantly keeping an eye out for any danger. Humans were interesting creatures, and to Seraphina, she thought that they were peculiar, in a  way that she could never understand. They were complicated beings, able to feel emotions. Love. Hate. Pain. They were prone to clumsy accidents, and wrong decisions. Capable of becoming ill and killing. Humans had to eat, go to the toilet. And now, Seraphina was like this, she could feel and become sick. She was now a human. The female frowned at that thought, she didn't like it. Why had she been chosen? Couldn't another angel do it? No. It had to be her. Absolutely had to. A small sigh.

"Now... Where do I go?" With a confused look, she continued to walk.

After an hour of trekking through the forest, she came upon a beam of light. Who the hell has a house in the middle of the forest?

With a small shake of her head, she continued forward, hoping that there was an empty house, or some from of shelter. Ducking underneath a branch, she looked at the large house in front of her. For a moment, she stood still, just observing the house. It seemed to be the side of the house, because she could see no door leading into it. Walking around, she found the entrance, a large wooden door, made of oak. Stepping forward, she hesitantly reached out for the handle. She could see, nor hear any human or creature in this house, so she supposed that it was safe. A small shrug of her shoulders, she twisted the brass doorknob. It was locked.

The angel huffed, crossing her arms over her chest as she stared at the door.  There was a mat in front of the dor, rectangular and blank, just a mat. Curiously, she bent down to lift the mat up, hoping for a key. None.

"Damn." She sighed, and dropped the mat, almost smiling in amusement at the idea of hiding a key underneath the doormat.  Some humans were so stupid. Spreading her wings, she lifted herself into the air, and checked the windows, finding that one had been unlocked.

"Lucky me." She landed on the windowsill, folding her wings back, and slid into the rooom gracefully. It was beautiful. The room had been decorated in a modern style, with cream coloured walls and a large four poster bed. It looked so comfortable right now, she just wanted to jump onto it and go to sleep. So she did. Seraphina jumped onto the bed, sinking into the soft material of the bed.

"I love this bed.." Tucking herself underneath the covers, she hoped that the owner of this house didn't ocme home while she was sleeping. That would be a problem. Seraphina was too tired to care, so, closing her eyes, she fell asleep.

Seraphina opened her eyes, to the sound of someone unlocking the door, and she quickly sat up. Crap. Hurriedly, she pushed the covers off, and slid out of the bed, quickly rearranging them. The footsteps were closer now, noticing that she had closed the window, and locked it, she cursed under her breath and locked herself in the bathroom. Just at that moment, someone entered the room. It was a male, Seraphina could tell by the way he smelled. He smelled of pine trees. Hiding underneath the sink, she curled into a ball, trying to make herself as small as possible. His heavy footsteps started to near Seraphina, and he tried to open the door, she could tell by the rattling of the doorknob. Whoever was out there cursed, and walked back downstairs. After a while, she slid out of underneath the sink, and made her way quietly over to the door, hesitating beside it.

Let's just hope he doesn't catch me. She slowly twisted the doorknob open, and opened the door, peeking out of it before dashing over to the window and hurriedly unlocking it. Lifting it up, she was stopped by a man's hand covering her mouth and she was pulled back, one strong arm wrapped around her stomach. She stilled.

"Who are you." He said in a low voice, his breath brushing against the side of Seraphina's neck. He dropped his hand off her mouth, and roughly turned her to face him. She gasped, and stiffened, looking into the stranger's emrald eyes.

"I-I'm sorry, i didn't mean to intrude, I was lost and I just found your house so I decided to... Stay awhile." She stuttered, not quite sure of what to say, she couldn't tell him what she was, and if she broke out of his firm grip, he would know that she wasn't normal.

Surprisingly, a chuckled slipped from his lips. "Well... It's not everyday this happens."
