Oracle: Yes, I am aware.
The Source: You assured me her future would be short-lived. You promised...
Oracle: I only conveyed that it appeared to be short-lived. Peering into the future is far from precise, especially amidst the influence of magical forces.
The Source: The power of four is formidable. She will be nearly untouchable now that she's reunited with her newfound sisters.
Oracle: Once the bond is solidified, perhaps, but that bond has yet to form, leaving her vulnerable, easily swayed. (She approaches the Source.) Forty-eight fleeting hours—a window of opportunity established eons ago by both sides to safeguard free will. (Whispers.) The grand flaw in our design.
The Source: Has she not yet chosen our side?
Oracle: She is young, perplexed, unsure of her path. You must entice her to wield her powers for malevolence, and then she will embrace evil. This outcome surpasses even her demise, although that remains an option. You must get close, peer into her soul, taint it, and she will be yours. (The Source tenderly touches the Oracle's chin.)
The Source: And you... You must glean a clearer vision of the future, Oracle, for your own sake. (He disappears.)
[Cut to Shane's hospital room. Shane awakens and rises; the lights flicker. The Source appears before him.]
Shane: What in the world? Who are you?
The Source: For now, I am you. (The Source vanishes and possesses Shane. Paige enters the room.)
Paige: Oh, my god, something dreadful has occurred! It defies explanation.
Shane/Source: Shh, do not worry, my dear. I am here for you. Everything will be alright. (The possessed Shane's eyes turn black as he embraces Paige.)
[Scene: Manor. Next morning, Kitchen. Gemma retrieves an ice pack from the freezer and places it gently on Leo's neck. Leo holds it against his sore neck.]
Gemma: I don't understand how you can keep healing innocents but can't figure out a way to heal yourself.
Leo: It's quite challenging to heal myself when I'm knocked out. (Piper walks in with Phoebe.)
Piper: Leo, how can an angel even get knocked out? You're technically dead, after all.
Leo: We've spent three years together, and now you're asking these questions?
Phoebe: Well, you know.
Gemma: A more fitting question might be: how can a white-lighter get someone pregnant? (Piper and Phoebe giggle.)
Leo: What's that supposed to mean?
Gemma: What do you think it means?
Leo: If this is about Paige, I assure you, the Elders had no knowledge of her existence or her connection to you.
Piper and Phoebe: Sister witch.
Gemma: Half-witch, half-white-lighter—let's not forget that twist. (She assists Leo with the ice pack.) I still can't believe Mom kept that from you both.
