Hey guys! I think Riley has to learn her mom is sick in this chapter. Oh and I'm changing it a bit! One Direction and Simon come and watch Riley in the three day competition! Then they
move...

That's sounds good!

Well here is chapter two!

Talk later little strawberries!

*~*~*~*~*~*~*

* Riley's POV *

"Hello... No this is Emma... Okay yes... I will tell her the news... Okay goodbye." I hear Emma say, I can't see her expression because I still have my eyes closed.

"Emma who was that?" I ask, yawning at the end, with my eyes still tightly shut.

"The hospital, your mom is very sick." Emma sighs, knowing I never really talk to my mom and how she has been distant since dad died.

"Okay... I guess we go see her?" I question, as my eyes flutter open.

"Sure..." Emma sighs again.

I stand up and slip on my boots, and brush my hair quickly so I can get my early chores down before we go.

I brushed the horses and put fresh hay in their hay nets and more water and grain in their buckets, also leaving them a little treat inside their jolly balls.

After I finished my chores, I hop down the stairs of the hay loft and wandered into the office to find some decent clothes.

I look in the closet and pull out a red and black plaid shirt, skinny jeans, a white had and my brown boots.

"That's for Barrel Racing Riley! Wear this!" Emma chuckles, while handing me short jean shorts, oversized sweater and some black converse.

"Thanks Em, what would I do without you?" I smiled at her.

"Well, for starters, you would probably be in jail." She joked, making me stick my tongue out at her.

"Well, at least I wouldn't be some snobby English rider!" I shot back, with some sarcasm laced in my voice.

"So mature, Captain Sarcasm."

"So idiotic, Sargent Stupid."

"Okay, you win! Now get dressed, while I go upstairs to change!" Emma raised her hands in mock surrender, before running out of the room with her clothes.

Rolling my eyes, I slip on the outfit and walk to the car with Emma trailing behind me, with her oversized sweater, short jean shorts and black ballet flats.

I hop in the passenger seat of the black ford truck, because Emma wouldn't let me drive, even though I have my license. Emma put the key in the ignition and backed out of the long driveway and onto the road.

She turned on the radio and I Want Crazy by Hunter Hayes blasted through the car.

"I love this song!" I shriek with happiness, making Emma giggle.

We jammed out to Hunter Hayes for the whole drive and before I knew it, Emma parked the truck in front of the hospital.

I unbuckled and opened the door to get out, and quickly slammed it after my feet touched the ground.

We walked to the door and I hoped over the cracks in the pavement, of you step on the crack, you could break your mother's back, and that's horrible, so I shall not break my mother's back.

Emma silently laughed at my childness as I stumbled, because I tripped on the crack.

"I broke my mother's back!" I shouted in horror, making fellow passers look at me with wide eyes, making Emma laugh even more.
