Spirit's POV

I was walking in the woods behind my house one day I do this very often because I find a little walk in the woods relieves me of the stress.I soon stop dead in my tracks because I get the feeling someone is watching me.I look around and see nothing but trees and the small river I always come to so I decided to go down to the bank and just sit there.You see I'm different from everybody else when I was little around 1 or 2 years old my family was robbed by some people with a husky,but what I didn't know is that the husky was trained to attack.As a result I have a huge scar over the left side of my face,and my left eye is glazed over so I'm practically blind in my left eye.People call me names like "Scar Face" and "Walking Corpse" which I honestly don't care because I don't talk in front of people anyway so I'm basically mute."Crack!"I shoot my head up in surprise and see the most beautiful creature in the world a 7 tailed Kitsune I know what this is because I've read about them.I nearly faint when the Kitsune said "My my aren't you a sight for sore eyes."I just stated in shock as the Kitsune came over to me and outstretched a paw and announced"My name is WildSoul and I'm here to ask you a question. Where I come from there are animals called spirit animals and they help guide humans through their lives and it not only helps the human,but it also helps the animal." I nod in agreement because I also read about spirit animals and what I heard is exactly what I read so I just looked at WildSoul and noticed her 7 tails each had one color of the rainbow on it,and I asked her"What's the question you wanted to ask me WildSoul?" She replied with an amused tone"I wanted to ask you to be my partner,and I say this because I've seen all you've been through and truth be told ever since I was a pup I've always wanted you to be my partner,but my parents didn't let me until I was old enough to take the responsibility of having a partner. I think you are a natural born leader,and we will help each other get stronger. So I ask you again will you be my partner until the day we pass away together?" I looked her and said something I would never regret-"Yes,WildSoul I will be your partner and I promise I will take care of you and to make you stronger." WildSoul and I then shook hands/paws when she asked"Can I use your body as a home?" I looked at her confused and she soon realized why I was so confused so she explained"We spirit animals can only be seen by our partners and other people who have spirit animals,but the point I'm trying to make is that
spirit animals to love in their partners body and when the partner needs them they can summon us to help them. Do you understand me now?"she questioned if replied with a "Yes" and told her to go on ahead. She looked at me as said "Thank You Spirit I will forever be your partner and friend." She turned into a blue starry smoke and entered my heart as soon as she did I felt different not a bad different,but a good different. I could her her talk to me and she said"Do you want to see something cool?" So being myself I replied with an"Of course" she then said these ancient words and I saw every animal ever invented run across in front of me and they disappeared into the same starry smoke WildSoul had,but the smoke was different colors. She then told me to look at myself and I looked in the river and what I saw staring back was a person that looked like me and had WildSoul's 7 split tails and her soft rainbow colored ears. WildSoul spoke up and said "you now have every animal's spirit/soul running through you and if you think of an animal that animal's spirit/soul will help you and you get that animal's ears and tail,but you will have 7 tails and the rainbow color no matter what because I'm your original partner. "You may also be able to talk to animals as well,"she stated. I looked at her and said "WildSoul am I your first partner?" She looked at me through the water and said "Yes truth be told you are my first partner,and I'm scared that I will fail to make you stronger." I looked at her and told her to "Come out so I can see you" I demanded she transported out of the smoke and she said "wha-" I cut her off by pulling her into a hug and I told her "You will not fail because I'm here to make you stronger too remember spirit animals help humans and humans help spirit animals. They balance watch other out like a Yin-Yang Ball,and they make sure everything is symmetrical or balanced with each other before they continue with whatever they are doing." WildSoul looked at me with tear stained fur and muttered a "Thank You Spirit I will always be there for you no matter the challenge or problem." I smiled at her and replied "I'll do the same for you WildSoul." She smiled and said "Why don't we go home?" I said "It is pretty late and my parents will be worried so yeah that's a good idea WildSoul " I then got up from where I was sitting and turned around what greeted me was a beautiful sunset. I walked home with my new partner/friend/spirit animal
