I just wanted to get some things straight before beginning the story, so no one is confused.

Please be aware that in my story, Bobby is still alive and Dean and Sam are younger- so Sam is 27 and Dean is 31. Claire is 17. The biggest difference is the time shift in my story. Nothing happens the same way it did in the show, so please do not complain later because I am letting you guys know now. I needed Claire to be there with the boys so many things have changed.

Firstly, everything that happens in the show, takes place in this story, until Season 7. Castiel has let the Leviathans out and feels guilty- hence why he went to Claire to try fix things up. Everything in 'The things we left behind' and the next episode happens (Claire getting that couple to kill Dean) but Dean feels guilty and decides to track Claire down to apologise. This is where my story will begin. 

The whole having the Mark and meeting Claire ordeal happens much earlier than it does in the show. I needed Dean and Sam to be younger, and Bobby to still be alive for my story to work out. So Dean has killed Abaddon and after getting killed, he does turn into a demon but is cured later by Sam and Castiel.

The first few chapters will just explore Dean and Claire's relationship. Instead of me writing out the whole episode, Dean will check in on Claire at random times and tell her about the hunt. The next time the boys meet Claire is when she is in the hospital but instead of only Cas being in her emergency contacts, so is Dean.

The story continues but Claire does not go to Jody Mills to live with her and Alex (the Alex and vampire thing happens earlier too) She stays with the boys because Dean is not ready to let her go especially after her mother's death.

Claire will be with boys when they fight the Leviathans and from then, the story will follow the show's timeline. Please note that when they are fighting the Leviathans, Dean is bearing the Mark of Cain.
