It's a few days after we had turned Edge into E.N.E.R.G.Y.'s puppet experiment. They gave him simple orders to follow through with, and he did it with ease. The scientists were also able to finish the portal creator, thanks to Edge and his knowledge and power of being able to create them. They figured out how to create one without needing an energy cylinder; a few test tried the new artificial portal, and it was reported as a success, but with minor stomach pains afterwards.

Currently, I was on my own solo mission, the whole Terra and Edge situation behind me. All they needed was for me to bring him to them, and I was back to my regular schedule.

Little did I know that E.N.E.R.G.Y. planned on sending us on partner missions.

For my mission, I was to scout out potential resources of power for my organization. So I would need to blend into the environment.

Kind of hard when you have horns attached to your head, you know.

Luckily, Boss was of demon heritage, and could make my horns shrink down so I could stick a hat over them. Though it was incredibly uncomfortable, the visor automatically used the 1M-ALITY setting, that sent my nerves into a scramble, before the app fully loaded, and I felt nothing. Perks of working for a modern and technology advanced group of scientists.

My civilian outfit was simple; a fedora hat, beige ankle boots, a dark blue flowing dress, an orange scarf, and a grey cardigan. Two bracelets of brass and silver hang from my wrist, and I finish getting ready.

I walk out of my small room near the jail cells where the experimental projects on humans happened. It was located in what I considered the basement, and I climbed the steps up to get to the main room. Electrical sparks fly in the air, sounds of buzzing and any other sort of crazy noise could be heard as I passed them.

I go to the elevator, pressing the up button, and wait for it to descend and open for me. As I'm waiting, I lean against the wall, the cold stone seeping through my light cardigan. I move my visor slightly, letting it sit in a more comfortable position on my face. I look out into the main room, and groan loudly, shaking my head.

Edge was calling for me, saying to wait for him.

I sighed, pressing the button faster in hopes that it would come down quickly. A ding rung by my ear, and before the doors can even open, I start trying to get in as fast as I can. Sadly, Edge caught up, and jumped into the elevator as the doors slid closed.

"Hey," he smirked. "Trying to ditch me, much?"

"I don't feel like babysitting you today when I'm supposed to be going on a solo mission. Go ask one of the scientists to look after you or something."

He only smirked again, as if he knew something I didn't. I wanted for his response, my boot tapping the floor in an impatient matter as we rose to the surface.

"Boss said I should go on a mission with you to get a little field experience."

I hold my head, mumbling "of course he did" as I step out of the elevator, the doors being open for a few seconds after his response. Edge walked in front of me, leading us outside, his confident ego increased from the spell we had infused him with.

Edge unsheathed his blade every so often, his nerves getting the better of him, the spell creating a havoc of nervous energy built in his system. I watch with curiosity as he explores his new mind and personality, his entire being having been changed to one that would be under E.N.E.R.G.Y.'s control.

His blade disappeared, as did his armor, leaving him in regular clothes. Red flannel was wrapped around his waist, a black t-shirt accompanying his torso, beige jeans, red shoes with white lines, and a golden necklace that had a small symbol on it that I couldn't see. Edge ruffles his hair, and makes did a mock bow in my direction.
