I'm Nicky. Yeah Nicky, the nerdy 7th grader. I guess that's what fate gives you when you read tons of books. But you know, it pays to read a lot, I know tons of facts (especially about love). And I was there thinking of my last crush, which naturally didn't work out.
** Ma'am Terry - NICKY MARTIN REPORT TO THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE IMMEDIATELY
Nicky: Oh no! What did I do now?! *sigh*
I went to the principal's office with my tail behind my legs and when I arrived....
Ma'am Terry - oh, Nicky I'm glad you made it

Ma'am Terry - Nathaniel here is an exchange student and is in your classes. I arranged it so that you may be able to guide him through out his day.
*Nathaniel waves and smiles and looks me through his dark gentle eyes and my stomach does a triple somersault in the air.
Ma'am Terry - is that clear? Nicky? NICKY!!
Nicky- oh... umm yeah it's clear... come on Nathaniel, it's time for 1st period with Ms. Charlotte.
Nathaniel - oh.. umm okay
*after 5 classes.. it's time for lunch.
Nathaniel - umm Nicky?? Can I sit with you during lunch?? If you don't mind of course..
Nicky - sure! Why not?? *OMG this he's asking me to eat with him!! How do I look??
And my stomach does another triple somersault and my heart beats fast like It did for Landon (my ex crush) *Am I having another crush??................
