Damn, today is July 15th already. All I been doing for the past few weeks is moping around. "Get your fat ass out of bed" Ella says. "Why?" I groan. "Cause you've been moping around to long" she says pulling me out the bed. "Here, take your vitamins" Ella says. I roll my eyes. I have to take vitamins cause of something with the miscarriage and blah blah blah. I still haven't told Brooks that he made me miscarry, I haven't even made any contact with him. I take the vitamins and swallow them. I put my water down. She smells under my arm. "Yes, you finally took a shower" she says. I laugh and blow my morning breath in her face. I took a shower this morning but I skipped on brushing, I ain't got nobody to impress. "Why are you torturing me" she cries then holds her nose. I laugh. "Go brush child" she says pushing me to the bathroom. I brush my teeth. I walk out and look at the outfit on the bed. "Damn, all you got is name brand" she says. I laugh. "Where are we going today?"I ask. "Subway"she laughs. I glare at her. "That shit ain't even funny Esmerelda" I say then laugh. She glares at me. "You gone to far using my name"she says. I laugh. She laughs. That girls hates her name, I don't know why though. I love the name Esmerelda. I put on the clothes. "Damn Bae" she says looking at my ass. I laugh.
"It's to hot for this" I say then get my brush. She slaps my hand. "No, leave it alone" Ella says. I groan. "It doesn't make any sense, why would you straighten my curly hair to curl it back again" I say. She laughs. "I'll put it up" she says. I shake my head. I hand her my brush then I take my glasses out my bag while she brushes my hair up. I clean them and put them on. She finishes putting my hair into the ponytail them looks at me. "Wow"she says. "What?"I ask. "You look beautiful" she says. I smile. "Thankyou" I say. "What does that mean?" She ask pointing to my tattoo I got a couple weeks ago. I smile, June 20th. "That's the day I miscarried the twins" I say. "Oh yeah, I'm sorry. Didn't mean to bring it up"she says. "It's cool"I say. The tattoo is on my hip bone. Then below it there are two sets of angel wings. "Okay, anyways. I'm hungry" she says. "Me too" I say. "I want some subway" she says then winks at me. "I'm not going"I say. Subway is where Brooks works. Even though he's from Compton he isn't really in the streets. "Please" she says. I roll my eyes.
"You know I don't like makeup" I say. "Just for tonight" Ella says finishing off the wing. Brooks wasn't at Subway, thankfully. "What are we doing tonight?" I ask. "You remember Luke?" She ask. I nod my head. "Well we're going to the cinema and he's bringing a friend for you" Ella says. I open my eyes and look at her. "Ella you know I don't want to date anyone" I say. "Just try, and if it doesn't go well I promise I won't set you up with anyone again" she says finishing off all my makeup. "Fine" I mumble.
"You look beautiful" the dude says. "Thankyou, you look nice too" I say. "Nice? Baby I'm handsome" he says. Cocky much. "I'm Big, you know what I mean?" He says then winks at me. How much yall wanna bet it the same size as Aiden penis, and he 9 years old. We go inside. I type in what I want on the ipad. "Do you want anything?" I ask. "Uh yeah, a cheeseburger, large cheese fries, and a large coke, and some icecream" he says. I type in everything. "It comes up to $18.50" I say then hold out my hand. "Oh yeah, thanks for paying"he says. "What? You're tak-"he cuts me off. "Sshh, the movie starting" he says. I roll my eyes and swipe my credit card. I turn the ordering screen off. I look at Ella and she's all cuddled up under Luke. I swear imma kill her ass. I scroll through my phone. "Hahahaha" my date laughs hitting my shoulder. I glare at him. The door opens and people start getting their food. "Ok we have the cheeseburger, large fries, large coke" the man says handing them down. I look at him confused. "We have the spicy chicken wings with hot sauce and a water" he says then chuckles. I look at him closely. "Brooks?" I whisper. He continues handing the food. Maybe I just miss him. I pull out my table and put my food on it. "Oh uh, I didn't get my drink" I say. He looks at me. He hands me my drink while staring at me. "It is you" we whisper in unison. "Baby can you excuse, I'm going to the bathroom" my date says, who all of a sudden became a gentle man. "Uh, yeah, sure" I mumble. I stand and he walks out. "Baby? You dating him?" Brooks ask. "Nigga move, I'm trying to watch the movie" Luke says. Brooks looks at him and growls. I touch his arm. He looks at me then sits in the seat next to me. "Baby I'm sorry" he says. I laugh and shake my head. "Don't call me baby, what? We ain't talk in almost a month and all of a sudden I'm your baby" I say. "Nevaeh you know I love you, and I'm sorry. I shouldn't have hit you. I was being stupid" he says. "I know you always supposed to put blood first but you didn't have to hit me, you can leave now" I say once I see Small coming back, fuck yeah I change his name. He looks at the dude then sighs and stands up and walks out. "Who's that, a crazy ex" he ask sitting next to me. "You can say that"I mumble. He wraps his arm around me and kisses my forhead. Why he all of a sudden want to be a gentle man?
