Chapter four: "The plan of danger part two."

Wendy's (POV)

As me and Dipper walked through the woods, it started to rain. We have been looking for hours for a new shelter. Finally I decided if we can't find a shelter, then make one. I ran ahead of Dipper and grabbed a bunch of dead branches. Dipper sat on a log as I worked on the shelter. Dipper looked like he started to understand what I was doing, and started to help me. As I grabbed more branches, Dipper grabbed a type of root, and tied every thing together. Once we were done, the shelter was big enough for both of us. Dipper started to rock back in forth with him hugging his legs. He was scared, I felt bad for him. I wanted to comfort him but I didn't know how to at the time.

"I can't do this! I can't do this! I can't do this! I can't do this! I can't do this!"

"Dipper, stop!"

"Wendy, it's hopeless! How can we survive this!?"

"Woah, woah, what are you talking about?"

"Face it, we are lost in the middle of the woods, we have no food, no water, I'm cold and hungry, and I want to go home!"

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. It's usually Dipper who is always knows what to do, And never gives up. But I guess it was my turn to step in. I wrapped my arms around him, and held him. He was cold and wet, but I didn't care, he needed comfort. He held me back, and I heard a whimper. I looked at him, and saw he was crying. I whipped his tears, and held him tighter.

"Oh, since when did you start caring about me again?"

"I was just trying to help Dipper!"

"Why, so you can hurt me again?"

"What ever happened to we need to work together?"

"*sigh*"

"Just leave me alone Wendy."

I stopped holding him, and went to look for food. I was a little hurt by his comment, but he was still mad at me and I guess I was still mad at him too. I walked out of the shelter and went in search of food. After walking for 15 minutes I found a bush of berries. I smiled before I took off my hat. I started to pick as many berries as I could, and put them in my hat. Once my hat was full of berries, I went back to the shelter. When I got back I saw Dipper was still crying a little. I sighed and put the berries down. I reached around and hugged him, before I started eating.

Dipper's (POV)

I was still really mad at Wendy, but at least she was trying. I would be too if I wasn't so mad. I started to eat the berries too, before I went to get water. The rain finally stopped and I made my way to a nearby stream. I grabbed a big leaf and grabbed abandoned water bottle. I cleaned the bottle and used the leaf to put fresh water in the bottle. I brought the bottle back and me and Wendy shared the water. When we went to bed that night I fell asleep cold. I felt something warm around me when I woke up that morning.

I looked and saw Wendy was laying on top of me. I blushed before I gently pushed her off. I went outside to see that the ground was wet, and cold. I heard a yawn and saw Wendy has woken up. She looked at me and sighed. I thought I should a least apologize for how I acted last night.

"Hey Wendy, about last night I..."

"Forget it, it's fine."

I sighed again before she spoke up again.

"We should get a move on."

"Yeah...."

"Come on, I'll show you the place where I found those berries."

"Okay, let's go."

Wendy then lead me through some bushes, and I saw a bunch of berry bushes. I smiled before I started to eat blue berries. Wendy smiled before she started to eat the raspberries. When we were full, we journeyed up to the cliff. We walked for hours which felt like days on end as we went up. We would take breaks once and a while but we kept on climbing. We were just about half way there when I started to get tired. We kept climbing until we took one more brake, then climbed again up the cliff. On the way I heard something strange, like a cage open. Oh no. Me and Wendy, then heard a roar behind us. We turned to see an angry goblin troll coming our way. We screamed before we started running. We ran until we were near the edge of the cliff with the monster closing in on us.
