I frowned up at Harry who still had concern washed over his face. He pulled up a chair and I flinched, my ears flattening back. I'd rather have gotten up and left but I'm sure he wouldn't have just shown up if he didn't need something.
He knows I'm mad at him.
I shuffled my chair away from him, as he placed his bag on the desk to his right side, slightly trembling hands resting on the desk. I bit my lip softly to stop myself from frowning.
"What do you need then?" I said, my voice a little more cold than I was planning causing Harry to look down, his glasses sliding down his nose, curls hanging in his face. Sighing, I rubbed my forehead softly as I heard his hushed whisper of,
"W-We have to work t-together on a p-project."
My eyes shot open. Oh no... No no no! I stared at Harry in shock. Who was this project for? I can't take him home with me unless my father is taking his slutty girlfriend out for the weekend. Panic bubbled up inside me, but I tried to fake calmness... Hoping he wouldn't ask to come around mine.
"Who is it for?" I asked, hoping my voice didn't sound nervous. I swallowed, now folding my fingers together, my hands twitching, as the hairs on my tail bristled. I couldn't wait to get this beanie off and unwrap my tail. It angers me that I am so different. That I can't walk around school freely!
"Science, with Mr Acton." Harry whispered, his eyes not lifting. I studied him closely, how his glasses had almost completely slipped off of his nose. His green eyes were hidden as he looked down, his dark lashes splayed across his pink filled cheeks. His bottom lip pulled between his teeth. Curls flopped all in his face.
Why the hell did Mr Acton pick Harry to be my partner?
"He picked me to be your partner because I didn't want to be with the boys that hang with Louis... S-Sorry. I can do it by myself-"
"No. Harry no, if we've been paired together we might as well do it together." I said, my voice blunt, but I couldn't help the blush that creeped into my cheeks as, Harry's head raised, long index finger pushing his glasses back up so the sat on the bridge of his nose. His green eyes sparkled as his lips twitched up in a small smile, his dimples showing just slightly.
"A-Alright how a-about you come round mine tonight? S-Say around half past six?" Harry enquired, hope glinting in those eyes. I bit my lip and nodded causing the dimples to deepen as his lips flourished in a full blown cheeky grin. I watched as he grabbed his bag, getting up from his seat.
"B-Brilliant, I'll see you then. M-Mum often makes dinner for s-seven if you want to stay round for that?"
"Sure that would be great Harry." I said, my heart fluttering slightly. I attempted to curse myself... I was supposed to be mad at him, but he looked so adorable and he was just looking after me... It might be nice to actually get a meal in, that wasn't almost horrid rotten chicken and a small pile of cold, stale rice.
He nodded waving as he wondered out of the library, causing a sigh to leave my lips.
Was it wrong that I actually couldn't wait to leave the house once more?

~Harry's POV
"Mum? Is it okay if my partner in Science comes round? I-I asked if he wanted to stay for d-dinner I hope that's alright?" I asked, cursing the stutter that has shown up since Niall had been ignoring me. I hope it's just nerves.
Yes that's all it is.
I watched my mother as she smiled, although her eyes never showed the happiness of her smile. I knew she missed my father. Heck both me and Gemma missed him. I bit my lip walking into the kitchen, dumping my bag on the island in the middle of the kitchen.
