The ugly duckling

~chapter two~

Niall horan is my nieghboor!

"well i'll see you around." he said and with that he took his hand off my mouth and turned around and walked into his flat. While i just stood there like an idiot! After a moment i finally open the door to my flat and walk in and lock the door. I have to admit he is really cute but i made a promise and i wasnt gonna break it.I wasnt really hungry so i didcided to skip dinner and just run upstairs to take a shower, after that i change into some sweatpants and a t-shirt and jump into bed i grab my phone and scroll through my instagram feed until i fall asleep.

I wake up to see the time was 12:34! start to panic! Im going to be late for work again and this time the latest i've ever been! then i hear my phone ringing. Its ashley probably wondering where the heck i am. I pick up the call

"hello?"

"hey sleepy head u almost ready?" she asks

"what do u mean?"

"today is saturaday! I told you we were gonna go see a movie today!" she said

"oh i totaly forgot ill be ready at 1:00"

" ok ill pick u up at 1:00. bye!" and then she hung up.

I was releaved it was saturday and i wasnt late for work because i dont work on saturdays. Now i have to find something to wear so I go to my Closet and pic out a light blue button up sweater vest and put a tank top under and put on some jean shorts and white flip flops grab my phone and my keys and wait outside for ashley to come. After about 15 minutes after 1 my phone starts ringing. It was ashley

"hello?"

"hey cali im sorry but i cant make it my boyfriend surprised me by visiting im so sorry"

"its ok i understand"

"thanks cal ur the best!" and she hung up.

Great now i dont have anything to do. Then i hear a door open. And niall comes out the door. " hi niall!" i say "oh hey i told you i would see you around" he said laughing and i giggled "so what are ypu doing here by yourself?" he asks "oh my friend was supposed to spend the day with me but she canceled." i say. Then there was a silent pause but it wasnt awkward but i didnt have a word for it. "well i was gonna go out for some lunch" he said and then he asked if i wanted to come and i said yes then i got in to his car and we started to drive.
