(Princess POV)

"Highness! Please slow sown your highness!"

I looked behind me to see the old man huffing.

"Why? Getting slow in your old age?"

"Please! You might fall!"

I was walking along the top of a stone wall.

"Don't worry. I'll make it look good when I do."

The old man started to try and catch up again.

"If you slipped and fell, you would surely die!"

I really loved running circles around him.

"Least that would give me an excuse for being late."

"You're impossible!"

I stopped and bowed to him.

"Thank you. I try my best."

The old man was starting to loose his patience.

"Please, get down."

"Alright. We're here anyway."

I jumped down and started to walk.I walked to the door at the end of the board walk. It was an old wooden door. I knocked on the door and waited for someone to open it. We waited there for a few minutes but there was no answer.

I knocked on the door again, with no reply. I looked over at the old man.

"Were not at the wrong door are we?"

"I believe this is the place."

I was 20 minutes late.......

"Hmm, maybe were too late? Maybe they went to look for us?"

The old man stroke his beard while thinking.

"Perhaps....... Although this is a small fort, we would have seen them."

I tried to open the door. The door opened easily and I peered inside.

"Hello?"

The room was lit but there was no one inside. I went further in.

"Is anyone in here?"

I walked up to the table. There were cups on the table that were full. There was a bad smell lingering in the air.

What's that smell? A trap?

I turned around to find my escort but he was gone.

I should probably leave now.

"Leaving so soon?"

I continued to walk towards the door.

"Problem?"

The voice clicked his tongue.

"Arrogant child. You will not leave that easily."

The door slammed shut. A man approached me from behind. I turned around but I couldn't see his face. He was wearing a long black cloak with a hood. He had a large broadsword.

That's not very original.

"A trap? Really? But I don't feel like fighting."

The man swung his sword around.

"Shame. I will just have to kill you then."

I folded my arms.

"Hmm, don't really feel like dying either......"
