Ringo's POV

I watched in fear as the alien Roi committed suicide, I felt tears prick my eyes as I called out "Roi!!" I ran to his side and used as much of my child strength as I could to lift him up, Roi slightly opened his eyes "R- Ringo..?" Tears slipped out of my eyes as he struggled to lift his hand up. My tears ran down my face faster, he was like an older brother to me even though we were enemies, Roi's fingers only brushed the surface of my skin before he went limp. I shook him "Roi, Roi, ROI!!!" He didn't wake up, I began to sob over his corpse, he can't be dead, Ichigo heard my cries and she ran over to me, there she saw Roi, dead. Ichigo sighed and held me close "he was like an older brother to you wasn't he" I nodded "even though we are enemies, I still look up to him..." Ichigo nodded and held me while singing a calming tune. After a while Pai showed up and when he saw Roi's corpse he turned to me, furious "who did this?!" I gulped "Pai, Roi committed suicide..." Pai's features went from fury to disbelief "lies! You're lying!" Ichigo sighed "she's not lying Pai" Pai turned to Roi and noticed blood "he's bleeding... So I guess you didn't kill him after all, did you" I nodded and ran to Roi's side, Ichigo came with me and she lifted him up " we'll see if we can bring him back with some Mew Aqua, ok Pai" Pai nodded and we were off. Once we got to a safe place, Ichigo took out some Mew Aqua and put it on Roi, I watched as it fused with him, I waited for him to wake up, but, nothing happened. I turned to Ichigo "nothing's happening" Ichigo looked at Roi's corpse "that's odd, he should be alive right now" I sighed in sadness. Then an idea popped into my head, it wasn't right, but I could be what he needs to wake up. I turned back to Roi's corpse and looked down at his face, Ichigo became curious "what are you doing Ringo?" I didn't answer, instead I leaned in close to Roi's face and my lips connected with his cheek. I heard Ichigo gasp but I didn't care, I leaned to his ear an whispered "please wake up Roi" I then felt breathing erupt from his chest and mouth and his heart started up again. My eyes widened in hope as Roi slowly opened his eyes, I looked down at him smiling, Roi grunted "R- Ringo..?" I nodded, tears of happiness in my eyes. Ichigo looked surprised as Roi rose from where he lay and turned to my small form, even though I was only 11 and he was like 20, I still had a place in my heart for him. Roi genuinely smiled and picked me up, there he held me close "I will protect you Ringo" I smiled "and I will protect you Roi" Roi smiled and nuzzled my forehead before walking off with me in his protective arms.
