Stand By You--Lithuania, America, and Canada

Canada softly smiled at Lithuania and America, feeling at ease. They had arranged a date so they could all hang out together. Canada turned to Lithuania, and held up a tea pot, so he could refill the other's cup. Lithuania smiled back, and everything seemed perfect...
Hands, put your empty hands in mine
And scars, show me all the scars you hide
And hey, if your wings are broken
Please take mine so yours can open, too
'Cause I'm gonna stand by you
Canada was thrown to the ground, his perfect memory shattering. Lithuania was sitting on the ground next to him, his arms chained up, and his sleeves were in shreds, revealing long red scars that marred his skin. Matthew looked at his own hands, and gasped softly, seeing his own scars. But where was America? When he looked around, his eyes adjusted, and he eventually found America, lying there, unbound and unconscious. Canada crawled over, and gently tried to wake him. "Al... Alfred..." He said, trying to wake the American. Finally, America stirred, and he opened his eyes to look at Canada, a faint smile on his lips.
Oh, tears make kaleidoscopes in your eyes
And hurt, I know you're hurting, but so am I
And, love, if your wings are broken
Borrow mine 'til yours can open, too
'Cause I'm gonna stand by you
There were tears in America's eyes, just as there had been, but they were only bordering, unlike with the Lithuanian, where they had been allowed to fall. His eyes had a faint glimmer as Canada tried to take him back to the other male. Finally, they were in a small group, and they sat there for a moment, relishing each other's company. "Guys, we're going to get out of here." Canada whispered, wanting to believe it as much as he wanted his friends to believe it.
Even if we're breaking down, we can find a way to break through
Even if we can't find heaven, I'll walk through Hell with you
Love, you're not alone, 'cause I'm gonna stand by you
Even if we can't find heaven, I'm gonna stand by you
Even if we can't find heaven, I'll walk through Hell with you
Love, you're not alone, 'cause I'm gonna stand by you
Canada took one of each of his friends' hands, and they used each other hands to stand. Canada found a small hand knife that he could use to cut the thin, but sharp, chains on Lithuania's wrist. "There." He said, giving Lithuania a small smile. Then the smile dissipated, and they started walking, even though they felt weak.
Yeah, you're all I never knew I needed
And the heart—sometimes it's unclear why it's beating
And, love, if your wings are broken
We can brave through those emotions, too
'Cause I'm gonna stand by you
As they walked, they looked at the carnage around them. They seemed to be the only survivors of the terrible accident. Eventually, they just kept their eyes on the horizon, looking at the dark red sun. At one point, they had to stop, because Lithuania burst into sobs, causing him to fall to the floor, which caused Canada to start crying, and when he caught America's eyes, he saw the glimmer of tears, and the stain running down his face.
Oh, truth—I guess truth is what you believe in
And faith—I think faith is having a reason
And I know now, love, if your wings are broken
Borrow mine 'til yours can open, too
'Cause I'm gonna stand by you
"When we get through this, we're having another date, and this time, nothing will stop us." Canada said, softly. The other two smiled softly, but said nothing.
Even if we're breaking down, we can find a way to break through
Even if we can't find heaven, I'll walk through Hell with you
Love, you're not alone, 'cause I'm gonna stand by you
Even if we can't find heaven, I'm gonna stand by you
Even if we can't find heaven, I'll walk through Hell with you
Love, you're not alone, 'cause I'm gonna stand by you
They all looked up to the sky, seeing the red sky, but it was clear, causing some blue to poke through. "We'll get through hell, then we'll see heaven." Lithuania said, smiling. "And even if we don't see heaven, we'll get there eventually!" America said, with his hero air coming back.
I'll be your eyes 'til yours can shine
And I'll be your arms, I'll be your steady satellite
And when you can't rise, well, I'll crawl with you on hands and knees
'Cause I... I'm gonna stand by you
They sat there, until they heard a bomb in the distance. They started moving, but another blew up near them. Canada couldn't hear, once he regained his sight. All he could hear was ringing. He reached out for Lithuania, and they grabbed hands. America reached through the mist and grabbed Canada's other hand, and they shifted through, until it cleared.
Even if we're breaking down, we can find a way to break through (come on)
Even if we can't find heaven, I'll walk through Hell with you
Love, you're not alone, 'cause I'm gonna stand by you
Even if we can't find heaven, I'm gonna stand by you
Even if we can't find heaven, I'll walk through Hell with you
Love, you're not alone, 'cause I'm gonna stand by you
Love, you're not alone
Oh, I'm gonna stand by you
(even if we can't find heaven, heaven, heaven)
Yeah, I'm gonna stand by you
When the smoke cleared, they stood, and they looked around. There in the middle of the wreckage, there was a small alcove, perfect for the trio to stand and wait out the destruction. Then, they could return to their life, their friendship stronger than before. At least, that's what Canada hoped.
(This is dedicated to my friends, greatest_hitman and Kara, who doesn't have a Wattpad. We've been through a lot of crap, and I'm sure we'll be through a lot more! Kara is Lithuania, Chris is America, and I'm Canada. This actually took a dark turn from what I intended, but I rather like it, so I hope they do too!)
