**Zandile's P.O.V**

I get home from the lunch and it's now 17:30 should I meet up with my boyfriend or should I not? Well me and my boyfriend were always on and off so I get a call from him "Hi babe , where are you?" So I thought what I was doing something wrong because I got his call right away "Babe? Are you there?" So I quickly respond "Oh hi babe , I'm home I was just thinking of calling you so you caught me by surprise" in a real quick voice " Well I'm coming through to your house I'll be there just now" he hangs up and I roll my eyes I mean I was just about to decide. I get into the house there was my grandma sitting with my aunt playing cards to prevent ruining their game I sat outside waiting for my boyfriend

Walking around the streets of Tlhabane my boyfriend decided to ask what I was busy with because I didn't take any of his calls I freezed I think he knows ... Should I just tell him or should I let it slide? No let me do it "I went out for lunch with some guy from school , Jack and well he's my new friend" he didn't seem to love the idea of me having another guy friend I'm one of the girls with so many guy friends "So this is it , he'll be getting more attention than me isn't it" I guess he has started "Njabulo! I think you're being too dramatic and you taking it too far, what you're trying to say is I shouldn't have guy friends?" and now anger was taking control over my own feelings. I love my boyfriend I really do but I don't believe he's over cheating on me , I wouldn't use Jack to get back at Njabulo so I just silently walk away
"Zandile you can't walk away in an argument" I continue walking "Zandile!" And there I was walking home

I get home and now it's time for my grandma to drink tea, I wash my hands and light the kettle so I make her tea "Zandile you don't look happy, what's wrong?" Like always I'm not going to say anything "Nothing grandma" I don't want to see my grandmother sick because of me. I finish making the tea leaving my grandma in the kitchen I go to the sitting room where my siblings Busisiwe and Wandile were watching Skeem Saam , I sat down on the sofa opposite to the one they were sitting, while greeting them "Hi guys" and they both asked the same question at the same time I felt like they planned it "I went for lunch with Jack I came back home you both weren't here and I had to go see Njabulo" I said with widened eyes "Oh , we see" and they turned their attention back to the TV. Soon Wandile left to go to his room and I grabbed the remote switched off the tv and started talking to my sister Busisiwe "I didn't think Jack was that interesting well now Njabulo is not pleased with me having him as a 'friend' " emphasizing the word "friend" instead of giving me better advise Busi decided to laugh "I.told.you.that.guy.is.insecure" laughing and trying to explain that Njabulo is insecure "Can we not get to 'I told you', this isn't the time please " I was really irritated now I stood up, threw the remote to her and went to my room shutting the door behind me.

I charge my phone, waiting for it to switch on I close the windows and curtains, and take my jeans off and I wear a short. I cross my legs as I sit on my bed and my phone was on so I surprisingly I had WhatsApp messages they're obviously Njabulo's apology messages so I ignore my phone. I pick my towel and go to the bathroom for a shower, when I come back I lie on my bed with my phone on my hand. The messages I thought were from Njabulo their from Jack, my face changes from irritated I started to glow

Hi Zandi, I would like to thank you for lunch and thanks for accepting my friendship request, I promise to be the friend that will be there for you when your dear fake friends act up

This is a lot coming from a new friend who doesn't know anything about me so I responded

"My pleasure, who wouldn't want to be your friend in anyway? I hope none of my friends act up Goodnight "
