Miraculous Ladybug Carnival Romance

Getting Ready for the Carnival

Adrien's POV
"So are you ready to go carnival, dude," Nino exclaimed, "because I am!" Nino told me that he was excited to go since he wanted to go on the rides, but I know the real reason he wants to go. He invited both Marinette and Alya to go with us, and he's going to try a make a move on Alya. When he invited them both, I pulled Marinette to the side secretly and told her to help me get Alya and Nino together and she went fangirl on me, which was super strange since she always stuttered in front of me. Hopefully we can get them to go on that ride called "Love Tunnel". It's supposed to be a lovey dovey in there, I guess.

Anyway, both me and Nino are going to pick up Marinette and Alya at Marinette's house and walk to the carnival. After walking to get to her house, I got a weird feeling in my stomache while at her door. It was the same feeling I had with Ladybug. But that's not possible, I love Ladybug more than anything! She's my lady! But after Marinette's "fangirling" about Alya and Nino and after talking about our hobbies and passions, I guess I felt like we can both be weird together, like an actual couple. But that can never happen because I think Marinette's scared of me. I mean why else would she stutter in front of me.

"Come in, come in. Make yourself at home", said Marinette's parents. I just loved the smell of sweets since I can't eat sweets because I'm on a model diet, but I still sneak sweets during school anyway. I burn all those calories by defeating akumas as Chat Noir so my dad or others don't really notice. Then, Marinette's mom asked us, "Would you kids like some cookies, or croissants, or..." She didn't get to finish because Alya came down the stairs. She was wearing a ladybug colored v-neck shirt with some blue jean shorts. She also had a headband with ladybug antenas. The shorts weren't booty shorts or anything but it did show her figure. "Sup guys. Marinette's gonna come down right now. She just had to do some other things," Alya said. "Oh ok. You look really pretty Alya... n...not that you don't look pretty everyday, but I'm just saying it right now cuz I n...never say it," Nino stuttered. Man he needs to get it together. I elbowed him in the side and whispered. "Dude, you have to get it together man!" Nino answered back, "I know man but I can't help it. She's so awesome and I want to be with her."

Right after he said that Marinette ran down stairs yelling,"I'm ready! Sorry for taking so long!" When she got to the last step she tripped and almost fell but with my cat-reflexes I caught her just in time. "Oh h..hi A...Adrien. I'm sorry, I wasn't really looking and was worried that I took too l...long," she said. At least she isn't stuttering as much any more. But when I got a good look at her, I felt like I was supposed to be stuttering at the moment. She was wearing same sized shorts as Alya but in the color white. She had a black shirt with a green paw, the same symbol in my ring when I'm Chat Noir. She also had her hair lose and had a cat-eared headband. She was purrrrfect. I found myself staring at her until Alya snapped her hands and pretended to knock on my face while saying,"Does Adrien still live in here or not?!" I responded, "Ya I'm still here!" Nino elbowed my side and whispered, "Dude, take your own advice...GET IT TOGETHER!" That last part he didn't whisper and the girls were just laughing at us. Alya then yelled,"Come on, let's go! Last one there buys us all cotton candy!" I thought "oh heck no" and started running like my life depended on it. I saw that Marinette was doing the same thing. She ran super fast and gracefully too...just like Ladybug. I wonder if they're good friends and run with each other for the fun of it. Nino and Alya were far behind us. I guess they were tired. I didn't really want to run either since I wanted to waste my energy in the carnival. I stopped and asked Marinette if she wanted to stop and she said yeah. So we both started walking with eachother. "Soooo... what's up with y...yours and Alya's outfits? Did you guys plan it? They're really cool by the way," I said. Way to to go Adrien, stutter more and you'll be worse than Nino I thought to myself. "Oh, yeah w..we planned it since the carnival is Ladybug and Ch...chat Noir themed. Too bad they're not coming to the c...carnival. Alya made me design these shirts at the last minute. That's why I took so long," Marinette explained. Oh shoot, I forgot that it was Ladybug and Chat Noir themed. Eh, whatever. I then realized that she stuttered when she said Chat Noir. Did she have a crush on my hero form or did she stutter because of me? Or am I just hearing wrong? Ugh, I hate this feeling. My stomache starts to have butterflies again.
