[Zendaya's POV]
Another day, another dollar. Zendaya had a busy day on set today. It was the first episode of Shake It Up Season 4! To say she was excited would be an understatement. She was so happy the Shake It Up cast and herself got a 4th season and she couldn't wait to be back on set!
"Zendaya, are you ready?," her father called from downstairs. "Yeah, just one second." Z threw her chapstick into her bag and ran down stairs. Her dad was already on his way out the door, as she followed him. Before Z stepped outside she stopped, she realized she forgot to grab her Vitamin Water from the fridge. She walked over to the fridge and grabbed her beverage. She pet Midnight, who was layed out on the kitchen floor. "Bye baby!" she said to him.
Zendaya entered the car and could tell by the look on her dad's face he was already tired of waiting. "Sorry dad." She said feeling guilty. "It's ok, buckle up!" he said before pulling off. They greeted the people at the gate, then entered the Shake It Up stage. "Zen Zen, what's up?" Adam called from across the room almost instantly after she came through the door. "Hey Adam!" she greeted him with a hug. "Where is everyone?" she asked. "Their already at the table read, I just came in two minutes before you got here." "Cool, lets go!"
"Hey there's the other star of the show and Mr. Adam Irigoyen himself." the director, Rob, announced. "Good to be back Rob," Adam said smiling from ear to ear. "Yeah, I'm pretty excited about this season," Z said while taking her seat between her bestie Bella Thorne and her big bro Roshon Fegan. Everyone hugged each other before getting to the script.
The front of the script read "ROCKY'S BIG SECRET IT UP" Z smiled at this. "This should be interesting Rob," she said pointing at the title. "Yes, it actually is pretty interesting. I thought so at least." The whole cast burst into little snickers. "Let's get to it, shall we?" The cast shouted out "yeah's and yes's" simotansly. "Sir, we still have to wait for our guest star." the executive producer spoke up. "Oh yes, Patrick. Where is he?" Zendaya looked back and forth from Rob and the executive producer as they conversated. "Patrick? As in Breeding?," she thought to herself, what would he be doing on Shake It Up?....maybe a dance." Just as Zendaya completed her thought Patrick walked through the door.
"Sorry," he said, "LA traffic is crazy!" "Aye I feel you bro," Roshon said as he dapped Patrick up from accros the table. Zendaya looked at them and chuckled. "Boys have to dap up over everything," she said. Patrick looked at her and smiled a flirty smile. Zendaya didn't really catch on to it, she just shrugged it off. "You can have a seat next to me bro," Adam said. Patrick took his seat. "Now! Are we ready to start?" Rob said a little too over enthusiastically which made everyone giggle once agin.
By the time the script was finish everyone was hungry. It was time to go for lunch. Zendaya and Bella were the first ones out the door, but the boys followed closely behind them. "Dude, I'm freaking starving," Bella blurted out to no one in particular. "You didn't eat breakfast?" Zendaya asked her kind of suprised. "No. I didn't have time, I was running late." she said while rubbing her growling stomach. "Well, at least you weren't as late as you know who," she threw a smirk Patrick's way. He instantly caught on to this and crept up behind her. He wrapped his arm around her shoulder. "Aye, like I said, it's not my fault LA traffic is ridiculous." he said acting some what offended. "Then maybe you should've left earlier...hm?" He unwrapped his arm from around her and stepped in front of her. He started walking backwards while facing her. "Sass me one more time young lady." Zendaya rolled her eyes at this, but she smiled. Patrick stopped dead in his tracks right in front of her.
This made Zendaya stop. They were about an inch apart. Zendaya stared at him with a confused look. "Damn, Zendaya. I know I'm sexy and all but you don't have to stare." he grinned. Zendaya rolled her eyes once agin, as the rest of the cast were in the background giggling. "Are you going to move?" she asked half irritated and half jokingly. "You could always just walk around me." He tilted his head and smiled that cute smile Zendaya knew too well. She flipped her hair and brushed passed him, nudging his shoulder a bit. Bella ran to catch up with her. "Smooth." Roshon said as he walked up to Patrick who was standing in the same spot. Roshon winked at him and Patrick let out a small laugh. "Let's go guys, I'm starving!" Adam said rushing pass Patrick and Roshon to catch up with the girls. Roshon and Patrick sprinted to catch up with the rest.
[Patrick's POV]
Patrick sprinted down the narrow hallway to the cafteria. He had to catch up with the rest. As they got to the cafeteria he stopped and rested his hands on his knees. "I...thought...that...hallway would...never end." he panted. "A little out of shape, are we Pat?" Adam teased. Patrick looked up and laughed still trying to catch his breathe.
The girls where already buying their food when the boys got in line. Zendaya grabbed her vitamin water from her bag and took a sip before sitting down. Bella grabbed her salad and set next to Zendaya. While the boys were still in line Bella whispered to Z. "How do you feel about Patrick being your love interest this episode?" Bella asked with a small smile. "I don't know? Am I suppose to feel a certain way about it?" Z asked a little confused. "Ha. No Z, you shouldn't. Just forget I said anything." Bella chuckled.
At that moment the boys set down, and of course Patrick decided to sit in the seat across from Z. He didn't know if he liked her or not, all he knew is she was gorgeous and he liked flirting with her and teasing her. Zendaya looked up at Patrick who was looking at her eat her Cup of Noodles. "What?" she mumbled with her mouth full of noodles. Patrick placed his elbows down and leaned on the table. "Don't you know it's not polite to talk with your mouth full?" he smirked. Zendaya chewed the remaining of her noodles and placed her hands on the table leaning in, somewhat mimicking Patrick's position. "Don't YOU know that it's rude to stare at a person while their eating?" she asked rhetorically.
Patrick leaned back on his chair. "Touché" he smiled, "but your face is distracting." Zendaya took her hands off the table and crossed her arms. "Is that a good or bad thing?" Patrick looked at her with his cute smile that he knew alot of girls loved. "I think you can answer that question yourself." Zendaya twisted the cap of her Vitamin Water not breaking her and Patrick's mini staring contest. She sipped her drink and he put his head down and started chuckling. She won.
[Zendaya's POV]
Everybody finished their food and then they had to face the worst part of the day, school. Usually it was only Zendaya in her own school room, with her being the only one her age. Since Patrick was only two days older then her, they had to share today...and for the rest of the week. Patrick got to the classroom before Zendaya and took a seat in her area.
Zendaya walked down the hallway with her V Water and iPhone in her hand. She entered the classroom and was shocked when she saw Patrick in her seat. She walked up behind her roller chair and cleared her throat. He turned his whole body along with the chair with his legs wide open. Now Zendaya was standing right between his legs. She was looking down at him with her phone & beverage still in her hand, her eyebrows were furrowed. He looked up at her, "This your spot?" "Uh, yeah kind of." she said with an eye roll.
"I'm sorry," Patrick put his hand on his chest, "I didn't realize it." He said this with a crooked smile. "Really? Because it has my name spelled out in huge letters on the desk..." Patrick pivoted his neck to look at the letters, and they were HUGE, that spelled out ZENDAYA. "Must've missed that." "I'm sure you did." she tilted her head and smiled. Patrick stood up and she could feel his body heat all over her. His scent made her loose her breathe for a second. He smelt really, REALLY good.
She was at eye level with his lips. She was almost tempted to kiss him, but she didn't. He looked down at her and walked around her. "See?" he said, this made her turn around in the direction he was standing, "THAT is how you walk around someone." he smiled agin, showing his teeth. He turned around and sat down at the desk. Zendaya turned around and set down at her own desk. She looked down at her school work that was layed out for her, but all she could think about was the boy within 2ft from her. How was she going to get through this week?
