1. The Fire

There was a young teenage girl named Mandy. She had long purple hair with pink tips, and purple eyes. The rare thing about Mandy was that her left eye had a star. Her right eye was normal. Mandy's parents died in a fire. This story will be relived.

Mandy's POV
I watched as my mom turned the fire on from the stove to cook her stew. The lovely scent filled the room and happiness filled my nose.

"Alright, just a little longer." Said my mom. Then, the fire got bigger. Way bigger and out of control.

"Oh dear." My mom said waving at the fire. The fire caught the wooden cabinets and the flame spread.

"Honey, what burned?" Called my dad. I jumped up from the table and backed away.

"Mom?" She made a little squeak and fanned the fire.

"What happened here?" He asked then looked at me.

"She had the stove on and I burst out of control!" A tear slipped my eye. I ran to my room and grabbed all my favorite things. I didn't have very many. With that, I watched in fear as the only doors caught fire behind me.

"Mom! Dad! No come out of there!" I dropped my things and ran up to the door. Even though the fire burned and stung like heck, I grabbed the door and pulled it open, heat blasting me. I saw my mom and dad on the floor, surrounded with fire.

"MOM! DAD! Mom, dad... No..." I whispered and my vision went black.

Fire sirens went off and one of the firemen gently grabbed Mandy and put her things in a fire proof bag. He lifted her into and ambulance and closed the doors. With the other large fire bags, they saved some furniture and paintings, pots and other stuff. Mandy lay still unconscious on the soft ambulance bed. Burns on her face, bad bleeding scars, and a broken left arm. The ambulance whizzed away to the nearest hospital. No mom or dad with her. Two firemen engaged in a convo.

"Any other people?" Asked a deep, husky voice.

"No, just the girl." The other one replied. The taller one, who spoke the question pulled off his helmet and ran his fingers through his sweat drenched hair.

"But, what about the parents? Farren did you just leave them in there?!?!" Farren glared.

"Of course not Dylan! I couldn't even find them!" He scowled.

"Well, then that girl is going to inherit a ton of she lives. I think I want to check on her tomorrow morning. What was her name?" Dylan blushed.

"Mandy, you ass. Now get on with it." The two workers went home, and Dylan drove his car up to see Mandy the next day.

My fluttered open, and all of last nights memories flooded in.

"My parents! Where are they, where are my parents! My stuff, the house, MOM DAD!!!" I yelled and strained to get up. My arm stung with pain, and spots on my face began to burn.

"Oww....." I looked at my left arm and there was things hooked up to it. Things hooked up to ME. I couldn't move my arm, I broke it.

"What happened to my arm?! Where are my parents, where am I?!? Why can't I move my arm, what is hooked up to me, AAAIIIEEEE!!!" I screeched. Two doctors came in looking frightened.

"Are you alright dear?" The lady asked.

"Alright?!?! How can I be alright?!?! You don't even know what I've been through last night!!!" I panted.

"Don't worry, you will be alright. Umm.." He looked at the lady.

"You have a visitor." She finished. My face lit up. A boy about my age, maybe a bit older, but tall and handsome.

"Who are you?" I questioned and raised a brow.

"O-oh, hello... I-I'm Dylan... The firefighter who saved you..." He blushed which I found amusing.

"I'm Mandy, and thanks for saving my ass." I stuck my hand out for him to shake it, which he did shyly.

"Why are you here?" I question again. He replies with a blush.

"W-well...I...wanted to..." He blushed even more. I held back laughter.

"What?" I asked happily.

"T-to seeifyouwereokay." He blurted out. Even though I heard what he said, I was quite a tease I admit.

"What? I didn't quite catch that." He sighed and blushed. With a deep breath, he spoke.

"I wanted to come and see if you were okay." I laughed so hard inside.

"Ah, well, that's very kind of you. Dylan, right?" I asked.

"Y-yes.. Mandy?"

"Yup. Nice meeting you." I smiled.

"Yes. Er- right, you too... Um, see you later, I guess?"

"Sure. You are welcome to visit."

"Alright. B-bye Mandy."

"See ya." As soon as he left, I  felt my face heat up. He was hawt. Like really hot. I like him. A lot already. He seems sweet, he even came to check in on me. THAT IS ADORABLE.  Some surgeons came in.

"Mandy, right?" The man asked. I nodded.

"Okay, we have some surgery to take care of in your arm. After that is done, we will be back it three days to finish stuff up." I nodded again.

"You have to take these pills so you can sleep." The other man added.

"O-okay..." I swallowed the pills, and my vision went dark.

I felt horrible. I totally messed that up in the hospital. I saw surgeons go in after I left. I hope she's okay. I love her already. Everything about her, is just, perfect. Two more surgeons walked by me and some how, I caught they had no name tag. That's weird. The other surgeons had name tags... I saw them go in the room beside Mandy. Now I have to go meet Justin at lunch. As soon as I arrived at the cafe, I walked in and sat at a table with Justin.

"How'd it go smart guy?" He teased.

"J-Justin, cut it out. I messed it up. It's just, I'm so worried about her, I can't help it. I already love her..." I blushed.

"Ha, I knew it. I saw that face. So. Is she pretty?"
