My mom was there the next day. My brother was at some baseball camp for the next week. The nurse and my mom talked outside my room for a while then they came in. "U are going to be able to get a prosthetic leg and u will have to go to rehab to work on walking," said the nurse. My mom added you can't play football or any other sport anymore which crushed me even more. "Mom," I started to cry when I said this. "Yes," she said. "Why does this have to happen to me. I mean first dad dies and then my dreams get crushed because I have no left leg," I started
To sob.
That's when it all went dark and when I woke up I wasn't in the hospital anymore and I was in my bed I looked at my leg hoping it was just a dream. Nope false hope but they did put my prosthetic leg on. I got up and hobbled out of my room to where my mom was watching tv. "Look who's awake," she said.
"What happened," I asked.
"You started losing blood so they took you into surgery when they came out you were asleep and that we could take you home tomorrow, I was hoping you would be awake but you weren't so I brought you home early this morning," She said
