Ok so today we are adding double digit numbers.
For example:
34
+45
------
First, you add the 4 and the 5. You get 9 and you put that in the ones place. Next you add the 3 and the 4 and you get 7, which you put in the tens places. Put the 7 before the 9 and you get 79. Put it all together and you have 34+45=79. 🙂
