Two days until the party.

~~~
Sam finaly made it out of the building, running with his hands to his red eyes until he was at least a block away from the place he so despised of.
"You'd better watch out! I hear they come to life at night!" a red-headed girl yelled from the grass, green eyes sparkling in amusement. "And if you die, they hide your body and never tell anyone. Why do you look so worried? See you at the party! Ha ha ha!"
Sam ran away from the girl, who was now laughing at him until he saw anouther boy.
"Hey!" he exclaimed. "Aren't you that kid who always hides under tables and cries? Ha ha ha, no one else is scared? Why are you? Stop being such a baby!"
Sam's eyes filled with tears as he ran away from the boy until he reached his home. Sam reached for the doornob and opened it, entering the house.
"Be careful."
Sam gave me a terrified glance as he entered the house, quite as it had ever been. He continued out through the living space, checking under every mangled up rug and sofa, but no sign of the terrors that lurked.
He made his way through the house, but couldn't find anything. He sighed, entering his room. There was a creak, then his brother leaped out at him from the bed, leaving Sam a mangled mess of tears on the floor.
Tomorrow is another day.
