It felt wrong- being around him. My dad loved him and I thought that he would be a great guy. He is a great guy, but it just doesn't feel right. The thought of mates went through my mind, Out of all the people in the world where is the one who was meant to be mine?
"What's on your mind" Chris asked from across the table. It was our second "date" and by far the concept of dates has been boring as hell. Yes, I've never been on a date. There were always strict guidelines that I had to follow. And dating was on the top of the can't do list. Despite all that, my dad's fear of me getting the wrong kind of attention made him cave into getting me married-well atleast soon to be married.
"Nothing, sorry I just zoned out" I said while laughing and continued to eat my food. Smile, Laugh and Act like the Perfect Lady.
He laughed and touched my hand "You tend to do that a lot"
"Yeah yeah sure" I said while laughing and trying to figure out how to feel about him touching my hand. Happy, I should feel happy.
"So I have this meeting in an hour, would you like to join me or should I drop you home."
"Meeting? About what?"
"Just the usual, boring stuff really."
"Oh, you can drop me off at home then." I said smiling. I just want to get out of here.
"Okay, I'll meet you after the meeting then." He said smiling.
"Offcourse." I said with a smile and he pulled me in for a hug and kissed my forehead. This feels wrong; but there's nothing I can do about it.

The minute I reached home, I ran upstairs and changed into something suitable to go out for a run. I threw on some shorts and a long shirt.
I went outside and quickly shifted into my Wolf form. My wolf was a midnight black with a strip of white on my tail.
In my wolf form, I was free. Running always made me feel better. It was the only time when I didn't have to worry about rules and regulations and disappointing others. I was free.
After a while I slowed down, I had a strange feeling about the place and quickly shifted back and changed my clothes.
Then I felt this pull pulling me towards the area behind the lake near a tree. It was something I had never felt before. It was so natural, I didn't have to think twice before following it.
I reached the tree and the pull just got stronger and harder to bear.
Like an instinct, I looked up and met eyes with the bluest eyes I've ever seen before.
"Hello" He said with a tint of a smile. And at that moment, my mind and emotions were out of my control. I was free.
