I opened my eyes and looked around my messy room from my bed. 'Darn, I need to clean..' I groaned and rolled off. My clock read '4:09 PM' I have one hour to go before I need to walk to work. My job is a bartender in Moxxi's bar. The hours are great and the people are decent enough not to grab my body. I like working there mostly cause the music and it's amusing watching some drunken idiots get into fights and Moxxi breaking it up.
I used to be a vault hunter like my friend Maya but when we were fighting against some bandits they chopped off my right hand causing me to get a robotic one. Luckily it wasn't my left one or else my powers would be a little defective. Being a siren has its ups and downs, It's easier to kill bandits but I get hunted a lot by people who want to trade me in for profit. Now I just want to be in a quieter life with Moxxi and my friends. I sighed and got dressed in my usual attire with my shield and guns just incase anyone tries anything at the bar. I exited my house and walked to the bar early.
"Julianna!" I turned my head to see Roland. "Hello Roland, it's JJ remember?" I waved and stopped walking. "Of course, but it's important your friend Maya has come back from her mission! It's time to take out Jack! We need you!" I sighed quietly. Not again, all I want is a quiet life but of course Jack ruins it. If no one takes him out he'll never stop trying to kill us all in sanctuary. "Fine, let me get some better guns and gear I'll meet you guys in the center." I walked to Moxxi's.
"Hey Moxxi I'm gonna go on another mission.." I smiled slightly at her shocked face. "You promised no more JJ!" I sighed and hugged her. "I'll come back I promise now let me just end this madness so everyone can live in peace.." She nodded and patted my head. I walked to Zed's med machine and to one of The ammo machines. I sold my old gear and bought new ones. I walked to the center of sanctuary.
"Woah you actually came!" Maya chuckled and patted my back. I nodded and we both hopped in one of Scooter's catch-a-rides. "You both need to get to blood wing and weaken her, Jack had kidnapped her and is holding her in the wildlife exploitation preserve." Roland said through our echoes and I rolled my eyes and groaned. "Why so angry?" Maya asked driving. "I hate skags and Roland told me we were fricking getting Jack!" She shook her head. "He only told you that to get you to come, Bloodwing has a chip that will help us get closer to killing him." I nodded and shot a few skags.
~While fighting Bloodwing~
"Freeze!" I yelled freezing everyone excluding Maya. I switched from my corrosive magnum to my slag sniper. Maya aimed for the head while I aimed for the wings. After ten seconds everything continued and we shot Bloodwing down. "Take the chip and get back to Sanctuary!" Mordecai ordered through our echoes. "Oh yeah, Explosives!" Suddenly Bloodwing's head exploded and Jack's laughter continued after. "NO!" I heard Mordecai yell.
"We have no time for this we must go!" I yelled pulling Maya. While halfway to the fast travel machine more loader bots landed around us. "Oh you didn't think you were gonna leave alive did ya?" I heard Jack chuckle. I shot a few loader bots down but while shooting the last one I felt a loader push me roughly into a electric cage. "What the hell?!" I yelled. "This is only the beginning bandits quit or your precious siren will be killed!" Jack said in a serious voice before I blacked out.
I opened my eyes and hissed as the blinding light hit them. "Aurgh, oh my gods dude.." I groaned trying to shield my eyes. "Language cupcake!" I heard a cheery familiar voice. "Oh damn.." I tried getting up but stopped noticing I was on a metal surgical table my wrists and back strapped down. I glared at the familiar voice. "Hello Jack, nice seeing you! I would give you a hug or a high five but right now I'm strapped down!" I said in a mock happy voice.
"Aw kitten once we get your room all dolled up you'll be chained there!" I felt him pat my cheek roughly. I wriggled a little and growled in annoyance. "For a bandit you sure are cute!" He pinched my cheek. "Whatever, let me go I have nothing you want." He laughed and pulled out a pair of handcuffs. "Only if you wear these kitten!~" he winks playfully. I blushed and narrowed my eyes. 'What the hell I like Moxxi! Right?' I thought to myself as Jack unstrapped me from the table and cuffed my hands together.
"Now don't try anything I'll be right back!" I looked down at my clothing but there was only a hospital gown. I spent hundreds on that gear just for this. I rubbed my eye with my left hand but stopped abruptly. "My hand!" I shouted at the bleeding slightly golden hand. Jack rushed in with some Hyperion clothing. "Like it cupcake just wanted to show you what Hyperion has to offer!" I stared at my hand for a few minutes and looked at him.
"Thanks by the way, now uncuff me so I can get dressed? I won't do anything...for now.." I whispered to myself as her gave me the clothes and left. Hopefully Maya had Lilith or Moxxi to come get me. Who am I kidding Lilith wouldn't because of her laying low and Moxxi wouldn't cause she's too busy with her bar. Maya probably doesn't even care. I rolled my eyes and changed into the yellow Hyperion sweater and shorts.
He turned around and handed me some shoes. "Why are you being so nice? Aren't you supposed to be the big bad leader that hates vault hunters?" I asked while putting the shoes on. "Well cupcake, you aren't a bandit is what I've heard from my sources, just a friend to those disgusting bandits and I need you alive so those bandits don't get in my way any further." He said while re-cuffing me. "I was a 'bandit' but I stopped to be with the person I have feelings for.." I felt him stop abruptly and he wrapped his hand around my throat. "Who is it?" He asked darkly. I glared at him and tried to get him off me. "No one! N-Now get off.." I felt lightheaded and my vision started to blur. "Sure kitten." He slapped me and I feel to the floor.
"Screw this!" I tried to phaselock everything but it didn't work. "W-what?! What did you do to my powers?!" I yelled while I tried again. "Just a little protection for everything, the doctors I hired injected you with some medicine and soon you'll be injected with some eridium like those animals down there!" I gasped and got up. "Nah just kidding kiddo, now let's go I'm going to give you the grand tour!" He pulled me by my arm up and started to blabber about some expensive crap Helios was made out of. I heard angel in my echo. 'Julianna you must not fight against Jack, gain his trust and escape quietly when he least expects it. That is your only chance of surviving in Helios.' I sighed, great now I gotta play nice. "I got it, bye." I whispered and turned off my echo.
"What was that pumpkin?" I shook my head. "Nothing, just so 'amazed' at the scenery of Helios.." I giggled after. "Well I did redesign it myself!" He smirked. "So pumpkin I need you to stay in this chamber, I have important business to take care of.." His voiced sounded darker as he escorted me to a cell. I nodded and sat down in a chamber. "Angel? Angel are you here on Helios?" I whispered. "No I'm on Pandora, AUGH! Oh my goodness, ok JJ you need to hurry get out of the cell and run to an escape pod! Run now!" The cell electric gate shut down and I jumped out. I started to sprint to a random area.
"Angel are you ok?" I asked while running. "Hurry and destroy the eridium tubes!" I heard Roland yell from her speaker. "Angel what's happening?!" I yelled. "They're killing me JJ, don't worry friend you'll survive, goodbye my friends..." I gasped and fell to my knees in pain. An electrical pulse went through my body. "No! You bandits ruined everything!" I heard Jack yell. I heard Lilith yell out Roland's name after a gun shot rang out after that I blacked out.
I woke up in an unfamiliar room. There was a glass window that shown Pandora and the bedsheets looked like golden silk. I shifted to stand up but I couldn't. There's a metal lock on my back that's chained to the wall. "Hehe, is this all you got?" I whispered to myself breaking it with my powers. "Pathetic!" I laughed as I walked to the metal door. Not even after one step out I felt and electric shock go through me. I crawled back in the room. Damn, I forgot he put a chip in me. "You let her die.." I felt someone pull my hair up. "Jack? What the hell are you talking about ?" I asked trying to crawl away. "You let her die!" He threw me against a wall. "Fuck off." I said spitting out blood. "That's why you're my new battery along with your dear friend Lilith.." He kicked me to the floor and placed a collar around my neck. "Get this off!" I struggled with it around my neck. "Stop! Now go sit down." I didn't want to obey but I felt my body move involuntarily. "We're gonna have some private time together wouldn't you like that?~" he sat down and placed me on his lap. "Yes sir.." I felt tears go down my cheeks as my body stood frozen. He kissed my cheek and started to go down my neck. Right before he started to go lower that my arm glowed like it does and I concentrated on breaking the collar. I punched him in the face and ripped it off. It felt like I was ripping off my own skin.
