Chapter I

Well let's go back to show you how it happened.

It was a week before school started for our senior year. Jessica, Alexandra and I have been running rampant through my home.(My parents aren't home often they usually busy themselves with work and what not, but we are not the lets throw a party while the parents aren't home type so my parents don't really mind) Going nuts at the thought of the start of another two semesters of work and teachers asking for things that won't truly help us in our impending college years. All of us were given the opportunity to skip a grade or two yet we would always decline, thinking we'd miss each other dearly. Me and Jessica have been friends since kindergarten. She saved me from being bullied into sitting in the sand box all nap time. And as a thank you I gave her my ham and cheese croissant. From that moment on we were inseparable. She is very into sports, thus I began to get involved in these so I would have an excuse to be with her more often. Being an only child gets to a person because after awhile playing with the straws of a juice box gets boring.

Jessica(Jess) is taller than me (who isn't) at 5'8". She is a natural blonde with caramel like highlights, her eyes are beautiful jade green, her skin is nicely tanned and she is just an over all great person. Alexandra(Lexi) became friends with us during one of our many summer camps. She is even taller than Jess 5'11" , she is svelte like model type svelte, she has a light caramel complexion, deep chocolate pools for eyes and silky black hair, she is the definition of a social butterfly.

Now that you known us lets move on to the action

"JESS! Give me MR. Snuggles back!" I screamed at Jess while running after her like a maniac.

"NEVAH! He will be my latest target to seduce!" She replied through her laughter.

At leat Lexi was trying to help me this time while she lazily sat in the lounge reading one of my many books. "Jess she's going to have another fit about his innocence and your perverted ways. Please don't make me go through that again. You know she'll get all whinny"

I tried to stop gracefully but ended up snagging my foot on the carpet in the lounge. Falling on my knees and palms. Glaring at Lexi and practically screaming "I'm not whinny!"

She just burst out laughing at me saying " Then what does one call what your doing right now in your world?"

"I do not live in my own little world!"

Then from the top of the stairs Jess screams at the top of her lungs "ATTACK!!!" Mr. Snuggles forgotten.

I frantically begin to get up as fast as I can so I can hide before she jumps on me and Lexi does the same. We begging to run and debate where would be a good place to hide.

"Ten"

"Lets go to your room"

"Nine"

"We don't have enough time to make it around for the other stairs"

"Six"

"Does she even know how to count?"

"Hey! I heard that and of course I do it's just that doing it the right way is so boring"

"Three"

"I say we go to the kitchen, maybe if she sees the cake she'll get distracted"

"One"

I grab Lexis hand and run strait for the kitchen hoping that we may still be able to fit in the island. Understanding my idea once we're in the kitchen she decides to pull me around like a little rag doll. Opens the small door, gets in and then its evident we can't both fit in the same space. This figured out I tell her " You stay here I'll go for the coat closet" and with that I'm off. Running full speed and skidding a little on the kitchen floor since its tiled. I reach the closed ant shut myself in with as little noise possible. Once I'm settled into my hiding spot I get the nagging feeling one get when hidden. The one that you feel like you need to pee and don't forget that you think that everyone can hear your breathing since you can. I suddenly feel something crawling up my leg. I try to hold the impending screaming, it was futile. I got out of their like a bat out of hell. Screaming at the top of my lungs. "Get it off! Get it off, get it off!!! I have a creepy crawly on me! Help!" I then found my hand tangled in some string that hung off my cargo pants. I then blew a sigh of relief...a tad to early because as soon as I did I was pounced on by Jess. I landed with a thump sound. "Ok Jess you win you got me, now get off"
