hannah-
hailey swatted at me but i dodged it.
'hailey im being serious open your eyes, look what i found it was in a box and-" she cut me off.
'shhhh, its so much nicer when you dont talk at all." i got mad and gripped onto the book making the lights fliker then go ouot.
"oh shit, oh god." hailey said jumping up,
"you dont think i did that did you?" i asked lookign over at her then i saw that we were the only house that didnt have power. great.
"hannah what are you talking about.?" she said grabbing the book from my hands.
"be careful with that dont open it yet we dont know what willl happen.' i said ripping it from her grasp i went over to her drawers and got out some candles and lit them with the lighter in her drawer. i sat it on her crapet in a mug then sat the book down beside me , hailey crawled on to the floor quietly, mom must have been past out not even realizing we broke the power. we held the candle over the book and haileys mouth dropped.
"you dont think this is real right, like we cant be?" she shook her head.
"thats crazy no way is this happening." i grazed my fingers over the books cover.
"finding this like magic , didnt happen accidently. hailey were witches. or like warlocks i dont know but were magical." i said then hailey punched my arm.
"do we open the book and read or like pretend this never happened?" hailey said picking it up in her hands.
"i dont know if that a good idea." i said but before she said anything back she open the book and like that the lights were back on.
"imm not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing." i whispered lookign at the cover, hailey dropped the book and started yelling. i looked down to the book and saw on the frount page there was names of who musthave been our past realitives down the line, i saw what had made her startled it was like someone was writting our names down. in old fashioned cursive our names were emprinted in the book.
"this cant be good, whyd you open it!" i yelled at her she shook her head then i caught my eye on something.
"hailey, look its dads name." i said pointing to it.
"you dont think this is why he went missing right?"we said at the same time then looked at eachother. as soon as we said that haileys window we climbed into not even a couple hours ago flew opened with a bang. hailey jumped in my arms knocking the book on the ground . it fell down and opened up to the middle of the book, i looked down to see little scribbles in it, it was actually a book of spells.
"this is to much we should tell mom." hailey said getting up to open the door but it was locked.
"stupid door." she said shimming it.
"somethign tell me were not suppose to let her know we found this." i whispered looking down at the book, i started reading.
"you dont think we could try out some of these spells right? yanno testdrive them?" i said flipping gently threw the pages but i felt the book ripped out of my grip.
"youre insane. messing with whatever tthis is , its freaking dangerous." hailey said putting the book on the shelf.
"when have you said no to 'danger'" i said making air quotes with my hands she rolled her eyes.
"damit hannah, fine one spell. i swear if i die im going to kill you." i chuckled.
"fine fine." i flipped to the frount where easier looking spells were. it was one to levatate things, i mean how hard can that be? we had to light two candles and put them in sight well focusing both of us on one object it said the power of two in a bloodline together is stronger then one. i guess we got lucky on that one.
"okay, it says stare at the object and concentrate," hailey said taking my hand. i felt near static at our touch, not as much as earlier at the party but almost. we locked hands and stared at the stuffed animal on her bed we thought work your way up right?
"levioso demeno "
"levioso demeno" we both chanted together. it felt like there was alot of pressure on my brain, and soon enough its like i could start to hear hailey in my head like she was in my thoughts with me. the stuff animal rasied a little, the pain got to much to bare and i yelled the chant with hailey making the bed itself hit the ceiling and then come crashing down. i heard mom yell and then stomping come down the hallway i used my new found power to slide the book underneath the bed , just in time for mom to swing the door open with ease as if it had unlocked or something..
"what are you guys doing, i thought someone broke in." she snarled.
"mother dont worry go back to bed, were in london not the projects dont worry." i chimmed she nodded her expersion changing and she went back to her little dungeon.
"omg we did that" hailey cheered i rubbed my head and loooked at her.
"did you by any chance, feel like i was inside your thoughts."
*thank god i wasnt the only one who felt that* i heard her say in my head.
"no freaking way now we can telpathicly talk to each other" i yelled throwing a pillow at her
"try it !" she yelled.
*i met the guys you were with friend something wasnt right about him* i said to her she sighed.
"i almsot forgot about that, he thought i was you until i insured him i had a twin. his freinds kind of cute thooough." she said with a wink. dragging out the though.
"no no no no and no i dont get good vibes off of them, i dont know it was like my senses said he wasnt good news." i said shaking my head.
"i see." she laughed then her phone rang , it scared me but she picked it up hitting speaker.
"heeyy liiaam." she said they already exchanged numbers?
*of course we did dumbie*
*get out of my head* she laughed and liam relied.
"i didnt know you lived beside us!" he cheered as i groaned.
"yeah i didnt either, so like we go to the same school." she asked , they continued with talking as i curled up and went to sleep on her bed. i was wipped out and had an awful headache.
