Chapter 1

June 20, 2175

Minutes in the past but not many

"You really shouldn't done that" the leader of the group of bullies said with a smirk as he stood up

"Pfft, you deserved it anyways" Jake muttered to himself quietly

"What was that punk?! You want to have this? Don't mind if i...DO!" He said as he threw a punch at Jake, but Jake quickly dodged the attack and quickly ran toward his friends and pulled them out of the building not even bothering to look back since they already know that the group is already following them.

Present

"Guys! Up here!" Ken called his friends up the tree

"How did you get up there?" Sydney asked in confusion

"Questions later! Now just grab my hand and get over here!" Ken answered as he reached out his hand for them to grab.

They all helped each other to get up the tree, luckily the tree's branches is strong enough to support their weight. Lastly Jake was the last one to climb and when he was about to, someone grabbed his leg and with panic he quickly kicked the person right in the face and quickly climbed up.

He looked down to see the group finally managed to catch up with them. Jake looked at his friends and motioned them to get away. So they did as they jumped from branch to branch, they managed to do that since they had been practicing.

As they are doing so, they saw a wall up ahead. They thought it would be a great idea to jump over the wall to escape.

So they did jump...but after they did so, they blacked out once they reached the ground.

Back to the present

"Ugh...where are we?" Sydney asked as she rubbed the back of her head

"I have no idea, for all i could remember is jumping over that wall and nothing else." Blaire answered

"Welp, its getting late. We eventually need to get back to our place, our parents must be looking for us" Ken said as he dusted imaginary dust from his clothes.

"The problem is how can we find our way out? There are no nearby trees that can reach over that huge wall! Also seems like this wall leads to nowhere." Alexandria said

"Sigh, well i guess i'll just text my mom and tell her i'm at---- wait, there's no signal here!" Blaire exclaimed in panic as the others took their phone out

"Your right, there is no signal! Oh cod my parents are gonna go wild!!" Sydney panicked along with the others. Except for Jake.

"W-what if...WE COULD NEVER COME BACK!" Sydney exclaimed in despair, and this is where Jake lost it all.

"EVERYBODY CALM DOWN! Ok, so apparently this is obviously my fault because i stood up to face that douche. But is panicking really necessary?" Jake asked yelling angerly at his friends

"We can find our way out of this place in a matter of time and patience" Jake said, finally calmed down. Now how about we proceed and find someone who can help us." Jake finished as the others looked at each other and nodded in a silent agreement.

And then, they all decided to explore the unfamiliar place and search someone who could help them on their way. While doing so they had discovered weird animals and plants, not to mention they discovered some of the mythical creatures they never knew existed on Earth, but there it is infront of their very eyes.

Time skip

Night Time: 9:43 pm

They had been searching like forever, yet they didn't found anybody the could be able to help them and show them the way out of this place. Luckily they found a huge tree at the middle of the forest with large branches that could support their weight and comfortable to sleep in for the night.

This is their position on the tall tree.

A few minutes later. The other 3 are already asleep except of Sydney and Jake.

"Jake? Are you still awake there?" Sydney asked. Eyes still focused on the dark sky.

"Yeah I am" Jake answered "why? Can't sleep?" He asked looking at the girl on the upper most branch

"Yeah...and also I'm worried" Sydney said "What could be my parents doing right now, they could be asking people around the neighborhood if they happen to see me or even--" she was cut off by a finger shooshing her

"Shh. Don't say that, i'm sure they're fine. We will find our way out of here I promise" Jake told her with a reassuring dorky-bucktooth smile of his making the female smile

"Heh, maybe your right." Sydney said as she sat up and patted the spot next to her, motioning Jake to sat with her and he gladly did.

To pass the time they chatted,joked, laughed, and tell each other stories while staring at the night sky. Later on Sydney felt sleepy, but she don't want Jake awake all alone.

Later on she rested her Head on Jake's shoulder as she try not fall asleep

"-and so then I don't know what to do! I quickly grabbed the nearest item and luckily it was my handy double-- Sydney?---awww she fell asleep" Jake said quietly not to wake her up. He carefully placed Sydney on her branch and went to his own and fall asleep.
