Clarke walked into the great hall and saw all the students talk excited with each other. It was her sixth year at hogwarts and she was excited as everyone else to come back. She went over to the Ravenclaw table and sat down next to her friends. Wells and Rave were talking animatedly with each other as Clarke tried to catch up to their conversation, while Monty just sat beside them all attention on his food and Jasper listened quietly.

"Okay so Clarke, we're in a situation, where someone has done something really bad to you, do you get revenge or just sit there and let them win?" asked raven.

Clarke had to think a moment before she answered. "Well, it's always better to try and solve things with words. Also if you get revenge you're just playing their game and they'll keep going. You should stand above them and just let it wash over you, they'll get bored eventually and stop. But sometimes having revenge is satisfying. Depends on the situation I guess."

"Look. It's way smarter to just not let them get to you. By reacting with revenge you just give them what they want." Wells said with a nod.

"But..."

"Can I get your attention please.", dumbledores deep and loud voice was heared. "As always we'll start this schoolyear of with dividing the newest pupils into the houses."

That moment Clarke stopped listening. First of because she wasn't interested in the news and which houses they were put in, but also because she saw her. Lexa. She had caught Clarkes eye for quite a time now. Everything about her made Clarke more and more curious. The first time she saw her on the quidditch field, she couldn't take her eyes off of her. It was one of those moments, when you see someone and the first thing you think is "God is she beautiful" Clarke was mesmerized ever since and everytime she saw her she couldn't help but look at her. Even though she had a hard time figuring her out.

But she hasn't talked to Lexa one time. She just didn't find the right moment to start a conversation. And also she didn't think Lexa ever took notice of her, so she just admired her from far.

Lexa was more quiet and observing, learning about people by watching them, and she was really good at looking right through them. She was very brave and sometimes even risky, that's why she was a Gryffindor. She'd do everything to protect the people she loved and can be really threatening at times. She might seem ruthless, but she is really caring for her friends and is actually a sweetheart, but only to the couple of people she trusts. She's just not showing, because she doesn't want to be hurt. She's really ambitious when it comes to achieving her goals. All in all a mysterious girl, that's hard to reach. (reminder: clarke doesn't know all of these things about her, it's more me characterizing her)

Lexa was talking to her friends Lincoln, Anya and Aden. Aden was very young, but Clarke thought he took Lexa as a role model. Lincoln was in the same class level as Clarke and Lexa, while Anya was a year above.

Clarke saw Octavia sitting at the slytherin table with her friends, Roan, Finn, Murphy. She personally wasn't Murphy's biggest fan, because he could be an ass sometimes, but all in all he wasn't even that bad. Clarke smiled at her and she waved at back.  She caught Octavia looking into her brothers direction.

Bellamy, her brother, sat at the Gryffindor table as well, far away from lexa and her friends, with his friends Adam, Harper and Nate. Bellamy got along good with Octavia's friends as well as the other way around. Clarke and her group also got along with everybody from Bellamy and Octavia's clique. Lincoln was really nice too. He was a little more open than his friends, who were more by themselves and he and Clarke often talked to each other. Bellamy however didn't like him, mostly because he was friends with Lexa and for some reason he had a problem with the girl.
