In the early hours of dawn Clarke was already up. When the thoughts about last night came back she shook her head, as if to get rid of them. She didn't have time for this. Today was the first day of lessons and she had to concentrate. She wouldn't allow herself to get distracted. Clarke looked around and took care of the things she needed today and looked for her schedule.
Raven never stood up this early. She woke up as late as possible and always had to hurry. After some time Clarke looked at her watch and thought it was time, even for Raven, to wake up. She walked over to the sleeping girls bed and shook her lightly, so she would wake up.
At first she didn't show any kind of reaction, but after some more attempts she finally squirmed.
"Raven come on get up. Please I don't have time for your grumpy morning ass."
"Okay chill. I'll get up eventually, don't worry." Raven replied, even thought almost inaudible due to the pillow on her face, that muffled her voice. Clarke turned around again and continued to pack her school stuff.
"How do you need so much stuff?", Ravens questioning voice was heard again.
"I try to be as prepared as possible.", Clarke mumbled back. Shuffling was heard and not long after Raven had gotten up herself and was now getting ready in the bathroom. She came out with the toothbrush in her mouth.
"I'm acfually reaffy exfited fo this year."
Clarke looked at her as if she had three heads. "How do you expect me to understand anything you say, when you're brushing your teeth meanwhile?"
Raven took the toothbrush out of her mouth "Sorry mom." and turned back around to finish. When she came back she repeated what she had said earlier. Clarke was now situated on her bed, since she was faster than she had expected.
"I said I was actually really excited for this year. I hope it doesn't get to exhausted."
"I aggree. If it gets to hard it isn't any fun anymore until the years is ending."
They kept on talking about, what they would change at their school, if they could.
"And the teachers shouldn't be biased about what house your in.", Clarke's voice filled the room, when she checked the time.
"Oh Raven we should go. Class starts soon." She looked up.
"Really fuck. Oh wait I forgot this.", Raven said as she searched for her wand.
"Oh come on Raven. We'Re gonna get late, because of you."
As the other girl found her wand she turned around and mumbled. "We gotta hurry now anyway. Come on." And they started jogging down the halls to their first lesson, which they would have together. Potions.
"What a great start.", Raven grumbled. Clarke just ignored her comment and kept on walking, until they reached the classroom.
When she walked in she saw Lexa and Anya sitting there at the table right next to the last one, where nobody sat.
"Wait who is our teacher?", Clarke asked irritaded, haven forgotten.
"Guess who. Of course it's Snape.", the other girl replied, rolling her eyes. Of course. Well she had to deal with him, she didn't really have a choice. Clarke turned around to look at Raven, but was confused when she realized the girl wasn't standing behind her anymore. She looked back at the table to see the brownheared girl grinning in her direction, obviously amused by her confusion. Clarkes gaze shifted to Lexas table and saw her looking in her direction also, a warm smile on her face.
