Chapter 8

Ragini rubbed Lakshya's palm to keep him warm. She hugged him tight, and did what ever was in her hand. On the other hand, Lakshya was falling unconscious. Ragini tried her best to keep him warm.

After sometime, the door of the cold storage room opened. The manager walked inside.

"Ragini ma'am?" He has a nervous and worried voice.

Ragini stood up in a hurry and helped Lakshya to stand up. She took him to her rest room in the restaurant. She covered him with 3-4 blankets and ordered a hot coffee. Then she went to the hotel manager who was standing outside the room.

"How can you be so irresponsible? You should check properly if someone is inside before locking the door. Get one thing in your mind very clearly, if something happened to my Lakshya, then you are over. No, you know what? Find a new job for yourself, because you are fired right now! Just get the hell out of here!" She yelled in anger.

"Ma'am, ma'am I am really sorry ma'am, please forgive me. It was a mistake." He pleaded as he joined his hands.

"I am not interested in listening anything. Just get out!" She ordered.

"Ma'am please..." The manager had just started when they heard Lakshya's voice.

"Ragini...."

Ragini rushed to him.

"Lakshya, you are fine? How do you feel now?" She asked holding his arm, sitting beside him on bed.

"Ragini, I am fine, let him go." He said in a calm voice intertwining his fingers with hers and getting to sit on the bed.

"But Lakshya.."

"Ragini..., for me?"

"Fine! Get back to work." She ordered the manager.

"Thank you, ma'am. Thank you, Sir."

Ragini didn't react while Lakshya just nodded positively. The manager left.

Lakshya caressed Ragini's cheek and she just looked down.

"You were scared, right?" He asked wiping her tears, which had not come out yet.

She said nothing just hiccupped.

"Ragini, can I get a hug?"

She looked at him lovingly.

"Ragini, today I realized, life has no trust, anything can happen anytime., what happened today, after that, I need a hug. I know, you embraced me, but I want to hold you in my arms. I really want to." He said with honesty in his eyes.

She turned her face, he moved his hand down.

"Don't my love has this much right?" He asked when tears took corners of his eyes.

Now without wasting a moment, Ragini turned and hugged him tightly. He hugged back. They bone crushed each other with their hug, not letting the other go.

They broke the hug after a while and he kissed her forehead. Ragini closed her eyes feeling the touch of his lips again her skin. Then he moved a little cupping her face and kissed on both her cheeks. He claimed on her lips after that. It was soft and sweet till Ragini began to kiss him back. It turned heavy and passionate. Lakshya stretched himself on the bed pulling Ragini upon him. He gently pushed her down until she lay on bed and he came on top of her. He removed her scarf and kissed all over neck. He again kissed her on lips. They intertwined their fingers, slip their hands above their heads and tightened their hold as their kiss went deeper. He tried to put his least weight on her. He broke the kiss when they were unable to breath. He kept his forehead on hers. Both breathed heavily as they looked into each other's eyes.

"I felt just... Just..." Lakshya began.

"Just like old days??" Ragini breathed out.

Lakshya nodded and they both smiled at each other. Ragini caressed his cheek both stopped when she saw her engagement ring on her finger. She remembered she was engaged to someone else and pushed Lakshya. He landed in other side of the bed. She grabbed her scarf and headed towards the door. A tear lone escaped her eyes. She left wiping it without giving a last glance, leaving behind a confused Lakshya.

Next Morning

Swara opened her eyes with a heavy head. She looked aside, the other side of bed was empty. She got up and found Sanskaar standing, looking out of the window, folding his arms near his chest. She got down of the bed and went near him. He turned when she kept her hand on his shoulder. He looked down to his feet.

"What happened?" Swara asked sending something strange in his behavior.

"I.. I am sorry..." He spoke somehow.

"Sorry for what?" She asked.

"For, everything that happened last night. I am really sorry. I am very very guilty. I..."

"Sanskaar!" She held his hand. "Relax! No need to apologize. It was a special night for both of us. Right?" She said cupping his left cheek with her one hand.

He removed her hand from his cheek.

"But I wanted you to remember those moments." He said in a calm voice.

"I remember everything!" She cupping his face. "What I did in the party, to how you brought me here. I remember every pulse of second spent with you! I thank you for everything!" She said before kissing him.

Sanskaar smiled.

"If you hadn't drunk, this have had never happened. Right?

"It was supposed to happen someday. You know, I love you." Swara chuckled before saying this.

"I love you too."

Sanskaar pulled her into a hug. She hugged back.

I am so happy to get you back." He said shaking her in between the hug.

"Sanskaar, don't tell anyone that we are back together." Swara said in a serious tone.

Sanskaar broke the hug.

"I understand." He smiled and kept his hand on her cheek. "We have to reunite Lakshya and Ragini."

"Yes. Till Ragini and Lakshya don't get closer, we will not tell them anything." She smiled back.

"OK. Now get ready. We need to leave." He said joining their foreheads.

"Give me 10 mins, you go to your room." She said rubbing her nose with his.

"Why there? I will stay here." He said pulling her closer holding her waist.

"Sanskaar!" She widened her eyes. "I have to take shower and change. Go get ready."

"Will you still blush in front of me?" He said in a teasing tone and she blushed crimson.

She pushed him and he made faces.

"Go!" She said more like an ordered.

"Were you always so unromantic?" He asked making an 'M' with his eye brows.

She chuckled and he left. Swara looked outside the window feeling the cool breeze when Sanskaar returned, pecking on her cheek, ran away. She smiled and shook her head on him.
