Recap:
"I'm not fragile, Will." I say and he looks at me amusedly.
"I never said you were. But you're my whole world. I cannot risk you getting hurt at my expense. I won't have it." He says as he takes a step towards me, eyes now flickering to black. I open my mouth but no words come out.
"Now, come on, we have to get to the pack house before sundown." He says firmly as he starts walking into the woods. I stare blankly at where he just stood. He's crazy if he thinks I'm going to let him suffer through that alone. I hear him call my name, and I snap out of my trance. I start walking, making sure to avoid the sticks and tree roots that have taken over the ground of the forest. He waits for me to catch up to him, and grips my hand roughly in his. The tingles shoot up my arm, calming me, but I know that conversation is not gone.
After about 5 minutes of walking through the woods, we approach a path. The last of the sun's rays are poking through the trees, casting shadows. We walk another 500 or so feet, and the path ends, and I'm met with takes my breath away.

The sight before me has me in awe.
This 'pack house' or whatever Will called it is absolutely beautiful. The house has a myriad of lights illuminating its exterior. The first like 10 feet of the house's exterior is covered beautifully in stone and the rest is wood and windows. It has beams supporting the roof and large windows cover almost the entire front of the house, and it has a series of decks that run the perimeter of it. The pack house looks magnificent at dusk when the sun is just about to set below the horizon, just like now. I hear a laugh, and turn my head to see Will looking at me amusedly.
"Do you like it?" He asks shyly, and my mouth drops open.
"Like it? Will this place is beautiful. I can only imagine what it looks like inside." I say excitedly. He laughs and looks at me; his eyes crinkle at the sides from his smile.
"Well let's go inside, babydoll." He says as he takes my hand and leads me up the back pathway to the house. He's practically dragging me because I'm stopping to awe at every beautiful piece of scenery I see. He walks us up a stone patio and to what I assume is the back of the house. He bends down next to a pot and lifts it up to reveal a key. I roll my eyes and giggle.
"Seriously? Under the flower pot? Can you get more predictable?" I ask rhetorically. He rolls his eyes and shrugs innocently. I laugh and he puts the key into the lock and turns it.
Once the door is open, Will bends down again and puts the key safely under the pot. He turns back at me and winks before twisting the door open. The door opens and Will holds his hand out for me to grasp. He pulls me in and shuts the door. I look around and the inside is as immaculate as the outside. High ceilings covered with wood are overhead. The floors are a rich mahogany and it smells like pine and fresh dew. I look around some more, admiring the beauty of the place, but then I frown.
